Description

Objectives of the Position

Lead relevant functions/entities for authority reporting and data compliance projects. Collaborate with relevant functions and entities to enhance china data compliance management system.

• Centrally drive authority reporting tasks and initiatives.

Steer cross functions and entities to complete regular/ad-hoc reporting/inspection/survey as required by authorities.

Centrally drive different functions to assure the quality and accuracy of authority reports in a standardize and effective way.

2. Centrally drive data compliance projects and tasks.

Drive essential data compliance projects such as data categorization and classification project, data security risk assessment project. 

Steer cross functions and entities to deliver results for projects/tasks/initiatives assigned by senior manager from time to time. 

3. Collaborate with relevant functions to enhance China Compliance Management System

Closely collaborate with relevant functions and entities to continuously enhance china data compliance management system such as optimizes data compliances measures as well as deliver data compliance training & communication for target group.

Provide professional data compliance consultation for different stakeholders.

4. Drive implementation of remediation actions

Drive the implementation of remediation actions if needed. Closely monitor the status, and report to management in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education

University education required, major in law, Information Technology & Security preferred, good mindset of compliance management; excellent oral and writing skills in both English and Mandarin

Experience

Compliance / Risk management / Information Security/IT compliance/ Audit background (5+ years); experience of data related risk monitoring and management; strong communication & inter-personal skills; independent, self-motivated with necessary flexibility; able to work under high pressure and ambiguity.

Specific knowledge

Familiar with China data protection and Cybersecurity related laws, regulations and national standards (Cyber Security Law; Personal Information Protection Law, Data Security Law, Provision on Vehicle Data Security Management (for Trial Implementation), etc.); knowledge about auto industry and dealer network is a strong plus
