Senior Engineer - Data Engineering - BLK

Description

· Understanding business needs around big data integration, data engineering and data operations to build end-to-end data pipelines for analytics purposes.

· Describe specific business problems and support solution-engineering process.

· Master Data Management, data transformation and data preparation for structured and unstructured data (Image).

· Orchestrate, Automate, maintain and testing of Data Pipelines on premises and off premises.

· Ensure data records are well structure as per requirement.

· Proven knowledge of designing and developing scalable solutions with data processing engines for production grade application for e.g. Apache Spark, Airflow, Apache NIFI, Control-M etc.

· Analyzing /develop and implement data models for storing, handling and realization of data tools and databases.

· Deep understanding of Python. Knowledge of different packages of python used for data engineering.

· Good understanding of spark, pyspark and distributed computing.

· Familiar with the Linux environment. Knowledge of shell scripting is added advantage.

· Experience in designing relational and non-relational databases – PostgreSQL/Cassandra and eliminating performance bottlenecks.

· Experience with version control tools – GIT, GitLab, Atlassian toolchain

· Knowledge of reporting tools like MS Power BI, Kibana, Dash etc.

· Sound knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, Data models and Lakehouse architecture.

· Continuously improve optimize our data and data pipeline architecture as well as optimizing data collection and data flow.

· Maintain the data pipelines and perform data normalization and transformations.

· Familiar with cloud environment like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks etc.

· Work with IT domain teams and business partners, to assist with data-related technical issues and support the end-to-end production operations of data pipelines.

· Project participation/management in rollout of implementation projects worldwide.
Implementation of the company's strategy in the field of data management.

• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.

. Bachelors/Masters/Doctorate in Electrical/Electronics/Computer science/Communications or other related streams of Engineering.
. 4- 7 years in automotive/aerospace or related industry.
. Experience in working in a diverse work environment, across different work cultures and a matrix organization.
. International work experience
. Strong written and oral communication skills (English)
