RYZ is looking for a Social Media Assistant who will be the primary owner for the overall strategy, development, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns. Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of professional non-internship social media marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of the ins and outs of all social media channels, use them effectively for work and personal.
  • In-depth knowledge of the relevant and upcoming social media channels + platforms, and how each platform can be leveraged in different scenarios.

The Role:

The social media manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing social media campaigns and community growth strategies for Bitfinex. We are looking for an experienced social media manager who understands our company, as well as trading and financial and crypto markets, and can speak in the language of professional and institutional investors. The successful candidate will be able to bring our values and campaigns to life across our social media channels. You will develop and execute a social media strategy for Bitfinex that develops our presence and identity with the aim of bringing higher levels of engagement and trust among our customers and followers. We are the Original Bitcoin Exchange, with a deep belief in the financial freedom provided by Bitcoin, and the time-tested, battle-hardened technology that underpins it. Your Day-to-Day:

Develop and implement social strategies that drive community engagement and increase Bitfinex brand awareness and user acquisition.

Conceptualize, categorize, visualize, edit and execute every piece of social content that goes out.

Create and manage social distribution plans and schedules that align with wider marketing and business efforts.

Define and track key performance indicators and use these to report on your strategies and campaigns to the rest of the team and management on a weekly basis.

Create synergies with the PR team to initiate joint projects which feature a high integration of social.

What You Bring to the Table:

3-5 years of work experience in social media management and/or strategy in technology, finance or media.

Demonstrated self-starter, with the ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight.

Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal (only applications in English will be accepted).

Experience prioritising tasks, managing deadlines, adapting with changing priorities, and balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.

Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams with copywriters, designers, customer support, product managers, etc.

The Role:

The social media manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing social media campaigns and community growth strategies for Bitfinex. We are looking for an experienced social media manager who understands our company, as well as trading and financial and crypto markets, and can speak in the language of professional and institutional investors. The successful candidate will be able to bring our values and campaigns to life across our social media channels. You will develop and execute a social media strategy for Bitfinex that develops our presence and identity with the aim of bringing higher levels of engagement and trust among our customers and followers. We are the Original Bitcoin Exchange, with a deep belief in the financial freedom provided by Bitcoin, and the time-tested, battle-hardened technology that underpins it. As one of the oldest exchanges,, we are the home to some of the largest institutional and professional investors in the market, who trust our resilience, our infrastructure and the integrity of our markets. We are not a platform primarily focused on retail, though all customers are welcome, however our customers are here because they value our longevity and professionalism. The social media manager will develop campaigns that speak to this audience, engages them in the issues that matter to them and can highlight who and what Bitfinex is, showcasing our campaigns and supporting all the initiatives of the Bitfinex marketing team.

You will monitor and regularly present project updates and reports to the senior team and the wider marketing team, and will be assessed on your ability to increase engagement and growth across all our social media platforms

You will be expected to regularly review the efficiency of campaigns and discover new ways to optimise their growth. You will also be expected to understand the latest trends within the market.

Your Day-to-Day:

Develop and implement social strategies that drive community engagement and increase Bitfinex brand awareness and user acquisition.

Conceptualize, categorize, visualize, edit and execute every piece of social content that goes out.

Create and manage social distribution plans and schedules that align with wider marketing and business efforts.

Define and track key performance indicators and use these to report on your strategies and campaigns to the rest of the team and management on a weekly basis.

Put our community first, always. Make a positive impact in the hearts of our direct supporters and the larger community.

Create synergies with the PR team to initiate joint projects which feature a high integration of social.

Network with industry professionals and influencers through social media outreach and leverage these relationships to benefit our PR and marketing efforts.

Work with our product team to surface valuable customer feedback which can inform new product developments.

Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social ‘buzz’ regarding new product launches.

What You Bring to the Table:

3-5 years of work experience in social media management and/or strategy in technology, finance or media.

Demonstrated self-starter, with the ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight.

Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal (only applications in English will be accepted).

Experience prioritising tasks, managing deadlines, adapting with changing priorities, and balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.

Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams with copywriters, designers, customer support, product managers, etc.

Ability to deal with negative sentiment diplomatically, and convert detractors to supporters.

Ability to use data to communicate and report how social goals, strategy and results, relate to wider business aims.

Ability to work with visuals, simple gifs, PS assets, videos, etc.
