• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists to develop and implement models that predict subscriber behavior and preferences.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
• Build and operate a suite of propensity models to predict subscribers’ next moves, such as churn, upgrades, content consumption, and reacquisition.
• Partner closely with Subscriber Analytics, Finance, Business Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to develop models for various challenges.
• Provide actionable insights to help understand, for example, why users churn, which users are likely to upgrade, and how to increase the likelihood of content consumption.
• Oversee significant projects and tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve desired outcomes.

What we need from you tobe part of this story:

• 5+ years of proven experience in data teams.
• Graduates in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar fields.
  Master’s/Postgraduate degree in Analytics or Data Science is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages (R, SQL, and Python).

What you will do

Develop predictive models to optimize SEO efforts and increase relevant organic sessions to job search;

These positions are based in the LATAM market. Please submit all resumes in English.

You will lead a cohort of students through our Data Science and Data Analytics programs while sharing your experience and inspiring them with your industry knowledge. You will help students by answering questions and by giving them practical advice in the following forms:

• Video webinars (once-twice a week);
• Chats with students;
• Live-coding sessions (1 live session every 2 weeks);
• Moderating and consulting colleagues in the student experience team (reviewers, tutors).

And most importantly, you'll be someone that your students will look up to!

• Experience working as a data scientist using Python.
• Experience working with machine learning projects for more than a year.
• Familiar with the Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Sklearn libraries.
• Readiness to dedicate at least 12 hours a week to mentor students.
• Intermediate English, proficient Spanish.

• Remote cooperation with a schedule that’s convenient for you and the team.
• Training in mentoring and communication techniques.
• The ability to teach students while performing your primary job.
• Sharing experience with developers in our community.
• Tangible results measured by the percentage of students who find a job after completing one of our courses.

In the Role

Our Instructors are the role models for the students studying on our Data Science program. They mentor US based students, help them with difficult concepts and assignments, teach them the skills necessary to be a great DS professional. They guide students through the program and into their future careers, making sure all students get the most out of both regardless of their background.

• This is a full-time remote contract and eligible candidates must be based outside the United States**
  
  

• Host regular live Q&A sessions to help students unblock and progress confidently
• Offer personalized support through 1:1 video calls to answer questions and guide assignments
• Occasionally respond to student questions via direct messages
• Lead live lessons on core program topics and industry-relevant skills
• Share your professional insights and best practices to support the learning community
• Review student projects and provide feedback based on program standards
• Write clear, actionable feedback to help students improve and meet expectations
• Support students in text by explaining concepts, troubleshooting code, and clarifying project or review questions
  
  

• At least 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Data Science - including Python, advanced SQL, and a solid grasp of Machine Learning fundamentals
• Ability to clearly explain topics like EDA, SDA, and Machine Learning in a way that’s accessible to beginners
• 1+ years of professional experience in the tech industry - experience with the U.S. market is a plus
• Availability for full-time collaboration (approximately 40 hours per week)
• A genuine passion for teaching, sharing knowledge, and staying up to date with the evolving field of Data Science
• Fluent English: this role involves speaking directly with English-speaking students, so strong spoken and written communication is essential
• Must be based outside the United States.
  
  

• Teaching or tutoring experience
• Experience in deeper DS concepts (such as Computer Vision and Sentiment Analysis)
• Have your own experience as a student online, and the desire to help create the best place in the world to study Data Science
  
  

• Fixed monthly compensation of $2,300-3,500 (compensation will vary based on experience)
• Fully remote role with a consistent weekly schedule, 8-hour workdays, five days a week, scheduled between 10 AM and 2 AM ET (Monday through Sunday). Your exact working hours will be confirmed during the interview process.
• Free in-house training to help you grow as a skilled Instructor and role model - including communication style, soft skills, and student engagement techniques
