Job Overview: We are looking for a talented SEO Manager to join our remote team. This role is also commonly referred to as an SEO Lead, SEO Strategy Manager, Search Marketing Manager or Senior SEO Manager, depending on your background and industry experience. This role requires a strong mix of technical SEO knowledge, content strategy leadership, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
What Will You Do?- Own and lead SEO strategy for assigned clients, ensuring alignment with business goals and KPIs.
- Conduct high-level SEO audits and delegate implementation tasks to SEO Specialists and other team members.
- Oversee and refine keyword strategies, on-page optimization plans, and backlink profiles.
- Collaborate with the content team to guide SEO-focused content strategy, ensure copy quality, and identify opportunities to grow rankings and conversions.
- Analyze performance data using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and other tools; deliver actionable insights and monthly reports to clients and internal stakeholders.

What you do
- Act as lead for 2-3 client accounts - being their primary point of contact - delivering some work yourself and and pulling in team expertise as necessary
- Set client strategy and roadmaps, prioritising high-value work based on organic search opportunity and client business goals
- Manage the work planned for your clients - delegating to our Analysts while staying accountable for deadlines and the final product
- Develop specialist knowledge - becoming someone team members turn to for advice and insight (don’t worry, you don’t have to start off this way)
- Run successful calls and meetings
- Contribute to the pipeline either through blogging, speaking, sales support, cross-sell, or upsell
- Manage up to 3 SEO Analysts or interns
Who you are
- Ability to communicate directly with clients in a clear and empathetic way
- Ability to set client roadmaps, prioritise activity, and explain your prioritisations
- Strong technical SEO knowledge - you don’t need to know how to code but you should be able to make prioritised technical recommendations without support, with a focus on things like high-value template-level changes rather than just ticking boxes
- Experience of using tools e.g Screaming Frog, Deep Crawl, SEM Rush, Google Analytics
- Strong understanding of how search works. This includes what brings users to a site at different times, how to identify the keywords we need to target, and when search volume or difficulty aren’t the only things we should pay attention to
- Comfort with working with data, particularly using tools like Excel and Google Sheets. The ability to present data in a way that supports your arguments and conclusions without requiring the client to understand every detail

Overview
GrowthX AI is seeking a Senior SEO and GEO Strategist to partner with GrowthX clients and lead high-impact SEO and GEO strategies. This role goes beyond keyword research and tool outputs — you’ll act as a trusted advisor to CMOs and marketing leaders, combining strategic thinking with technical expertise to solve complex SEO challenges at scale. You’ll thrive in a multi-client environment, balancing diverse needs while ensuring each client has a cohesive, effective, and measurable SEO strategy. For this role, you’re available Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM PST.
Compensation: CA$24,000 - CA$36,000 (as listed in the posting for Argentina).
Key Responsibilities- Set the standard for SEO at GrowthX, oversee technical SEO improvements, including site structure, internal linking at scale, page speed, indexing, and mobile optimization.
- Partner with GrowthX clients to develop and lead SEO & GEO strategies that increase organic visibility, improve rankings, and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Provide executive-level guidance to clients, explaining the why behind SEO recommendations and ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and development teams to design scalable content strategies, preventing cannibalization and ensuring site architecture supports growth.
- Design, develop, and run experiments in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), sharing learnings back with the team and scaling best practices across clients.
- Develop and refine link acquisition strategies to strengthen domain authority and support long-term growth.
- 5+ years of experience in SEO strategy with proven success in both content-driven and technical SEO environments.
- Experience working with multiple clients simultaneously (agency or consulting background strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of GEO and optimizing for LLM search.
- Expertise in technical SEO, site audits, internal linking, redirects, and large-scale content environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with experience advising executives and marketing leaders.
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, consulting-style environment.

What you’ll do:
Work collaboratively on complex, large-scale, time-critical projects
Forecast performance set targets, build reporting, and communicate pacing towards targets
Monitor the performance of top consumer tech companies we work with and their competitors
Analyze digital marketing campaigns, and website performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations
Conduct A/B tests that optimize the overall marketing program
Craft compelling business cases for growth marketing projects including opportunity sizing with Analytics and Finance teams
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize scalable web platforms and page-level SEO projects based on traffic and revenue growth opportunities
Coordinate with data science to perform analysis on organic traffic changes.
What expertise you’ll need:
SEO + Content: 4+ years of agency or in-house experience with technical SEO and content strategy and/or general experience and awareness of the digital marketing space, including paid search, SEO, social, some digital marketing strategies, etc. Programmatic SEO is a huge plus!
Data Analysis: Exceptional data analysis skills (you are the go-to spreadsheet person on your team)
Paid Search: Either agency or in-house experience with PPC, SEM, paid search, and paid ads.
Product: Excellent product sense and solving challenging problems with simple elegant product solutions
Web & App: Strong understanding of how the web and native app ecosystems work
Tools: Experience working with several data and product tools (Google Analytics, Excel, Data Studio, Amplitude, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Asana, Jira, etc.)
People management: Experience overseeing and managing a team of direct collaborators
Project Management: Experience managing client deliverables promptly. Leveraging communications to ensure all strategies and deliverables will be delivered on time.
