Principales responsabilidades

  • Colaborar en la implementación y evolución del marco de gobierno de datos.
  • Aportar en la definición de políticas de calidad, lineage, metadatos y seguridad.
  • Desarrollar y mantener pipelines con Azure Data Factory, SQL y Python.
  • Participar en la adopción de prácticas de DataOps (CI/CD, testing, monitoreo y alertas).
  • Gestionar requerimientos de datos con Azure DevOps.
  • Compartir conocimiento y apoyar al equipo en buenas prácticas de data management y gobierno de datos.
  • Contribuir en la implementación de catálogo de datos y gobierno con MS Purview.
  • Trabajar junto a distintos equipos internos para asegurar datos confiables y trazables.
  • Ser referente en la adopción de marcos de mejores prácticas (ej. DAMA-DMBOK).

Requisitos

  • Formación en Sistemas, Ingeniería, Ciencias de Datos o carreras afines.
  • Experiencia (5+ años) en ingeniería, gestión y gobierno de datos.
  • Conocimiento aplicado en DAMA DM-BOK.
  • Experiencia en DataOps y CI/CD.
  • Sólidos conocimientos en SQL avanzado y Python.
  • Experiencia con herramientas del ecosistema Microsoft.
  • Conocimientos de compliance y seguridad de datos.
  • Certificaciones (DAMA CDMP, DataOps Foundation u otras) y experiencia en Data Fabric serán valoradas como un plus.

About The Role
The main responsibility for the job is the development and creation of BI solutions whereas promoting one business data driven culture. Primary Responsabilities :

  • Recurring tasks are: Administrative notifications, data entries, review accuracy & consistency, perform simple data analysis & auditing, monitoring and troubleshooting system integration reports.

''- Reconciliation of data on HC matters (ie. reallocations, global mobility, transfers) across multiple systems .

  • Special Projects: perform system testing & process improvements on a current integration context.
  • Leverage SOP as required.
  • Attend are key US Partners inquires.

Requisitions :

  • Education : student or graduated in Human Resources or other business related field.

  • Experience : years of relevant experience in data management &/or reporting. Additionally, exposure to internal stakeholders or customer service. Additional experience on system testings, process improvement &/or audit is a plus.

  • English : Advanced level (oral-written).

  • Digital Tools : Excel Advanced. PowerBI intermediate user level required. Oracle cloud preferred. Open to upskilling and comfortable using multiple systems & applications. Alterix (user level/automations is a plus), Power Apps.
  • Softs skills: independent, team worker, collaborative, oriented to detail, oriented to excellence/efficiency, ability learn from experience; curious, critical thinking, problem-solving , think outside of the box, ownership of their work, proactive, self-motivated, excellent communication skills.

The Geoscience Data Management (GDM) is seeking candidates to join its dynamic organization. GDM delivers reliable seismic data support to geoscientists in exploration, development and production Business Units.

What Role You Will Play In Our Team

  • As a Geoscience Data Management analyst you will manage 2D/3D/4D seismic and well data to drive operational excellence. Your responsibilities are data management across multiple repositories, support data discovery and delivery for geoscientists and streamline workflows to boost efficiency and data quality. You will collaborate with IT, Geoscience and 3rd parties to contribute with insights on the subsurface data life-cycle.
  • Our office is located in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires and you will interact with IT, geodesists and geoscientist from all around the world.

What You Will Do

  • Facilitate seismic and wells datasets from multiple repositories to support different business lines, ensuring proper data usage rights are respected and adhering to corporate best practices and deadlines.
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to obtain metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Continuously improve processes through automation and scripting, facilitating seamlessly integration of subsurface metadata across various systems of records.
  • Verify goods and services from vendors and partners—including contracts, transmittals, navigation files, and seismic and well deliveries—to ensure completeness and entitlement compliance.
  • Explore and understand data relationships across sources.

About You

  • Bachelor Degree in Earth Sciences or related field of study.
  • Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication.
  • 2+ years experience in similar roles.
  • Knowledge of Geophysics: seismic processing and interpretation methods.
  • Demonstrable technical skills by manipulating seismic data (2D/3D/4D), SEG-Y formats, and common processing versions.
  • Demonstrable working experience with ArcGis and proficient in Geodesy: coordinates systems (x,y's), datums and projections.
  • Data Analytics and data management experience.
  • Strong at interpersonal and collaboration skills, capable to communicate with multiple steakholders

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

  • Data Compliance and Governance understanding the implications of good data management policies
  • Scripting skills oriented to automation and orchestration (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
  • PowerBI / Tableau experience (desired)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL: design, query optimization, data manipulation
  • Basic understanding of Linux Operating System
