Overview

Location: Mexico City Hybrid

This role will help drive the preparation, adoption, deployment and go-live of the Lean Digital Core (LDC – SAP S4/HANA implementation) solution in Americas countries, with focus on Commercial areas for example Pricing and Contracting, Order to Cash, Revenue Management.

Working together with country teams, you will be accountable for oversight and delivery of all country-driven activities, including people to profile mapping, planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing, Training, Data Conversion, Cutover and Hypercare. You will partner with Solution Design, Enablement (e.g., Data Conversion, Cutover) and IT Experts to ensure successful delivery and adoption of the solution.

Major accountabilities
  • Support repeatable and scalable deployment of LDC Releases of functional business processes: Lead to Quote, Quote to Contract, Order to Release, Release to Invoice, Commercial models.
  • Support business process deployment activities in close collaboration with the functions and GPOs to ensure aligned understanding & implementation of agreed release scope
  • Ensure adherence to LDC template and agreed LSTRs in Deployment process area.
  • Support risk management & mitigation of business implementations together with Adopt Process Lead and in-country teams, including oversight over locally triggered projects
  • Engage with internal stakeholders on functional & deployment deliverables
  • Support user acceptance testing and Day in the Life simulation to enable local and global organization acceptance and support for positive “Go” decision
  • Collaborate with Functional and Business experts (~ country, Novartis Corporate Centers, HUB, .) to achieve sustainable process solutions
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Finance, Information Technology). Master’s degree preferred
  • Strong project delivery experience (PMP, CSM certifications a plus)
  • Relevant domain experience in either an operational or system support role covering the following processes: Contract / Order / Returns / Invoice Management; Tendering / Offer Development; Chargeback / Rebate Processing; Settlements
  • Prior experience with an ERP system (SAP S/4 HANA preferred)
  • Prior experience with a contract management system (Vistex, Model N)
  • Strong knowledge of operational and financial controls (e.g., SOX)
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile) and Computer System Validation (CSV) processes

Responsibilities

  • Experience using workflow with Project Systems and related master data management.
  • Working knowledge of core SAP modules such as FI, CO, and SD, and their integration points.

  • Desarrollar y mantener planes de proyecto detallados, cronogramas y presupuestos.
  • Gestionar y mitigar riesgos, resolver problemas y manejar los cambios de alcance de manera efectiva.
  • Coordinar equipos multidisciplinarios, incluyendo consultores funcionales y técnicos, desarrolladores y usuarios finales.
  • Establecer y mantener una comunicación clara y consistente con todas las partes interesadas, incluyendo informes de progreso regulares y presentaciones a la dirección.
  • Asegurar la adopción de las mejores prácticas de gestión de proyectos y metodologías SAP.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
  • Experiencia senior como Project Manager SAP en la gestión de proyectos de implementación, upgrade o migración.
  • Experiencia práctica y comprobada en proyectos de migración a SAP Rise con S/4HANA.
  • Conocimiento profundo de las metodologías de implementación de SAP (SAP Activate).
  • Fuertes habilidades de liderazgo, comunicación, negociación y resolución de problemas.
  • Certificación en gestión de proyectos (PMP, PRINCE2 o similar) es un plus.
  • Conocimiento de las últimas tendencias y tecnologías de SAP.
  • Excelentes habilidades interpersonales y capacidad para trabajar eficazmente en un entorno de equipo.
