The Senior Manager, Area Sales is responsible for meeting revenue and growth goals within the assigned LATAM South region. This position reports to the VP, Regional Sales (LATAM).
Your Impact

What You'll Need

The Senior Manager, Area Sales is responsible for meeting revenue and growth goals within the assigned LATAM South region. This position reports to the VP, Regional Sales (LATAM).
Your Impact- Drive growth with urgency and meet/exceed assigned regional sales targets.
- Partner with field team to develop and implement regional sales and go-to-market strategies that expand the company’s total addressable market, generate increased usage and product adoption, achieve aggressive objectives in growth in license annual spend, and meet or exceed annual budgetary objectives.
- Build a strong and highly motivated leadership team that can execute a unified customer engagement model focused on establishing sustainable C-suite relationships.
- Lead internal/external company sales functions and manage and monitor key sales pipeline and performance indicators to ensure achievement of financial goals.
- Lead complex sales negotiations and attend sales presentations to close key deals.
- Hire, supervise, develop and mentor a world-class sales team. Foster a positive, hard-working and results-oriented culture by leading by example.
- The ideal candidate will be an experienced enterprise software sales leader with a proven track record of successfully leading a high-growth sales organization. The Company seeks an individual who brings both experience in a relevant sales environment and who possesses the intellectual capability, leadership skills, organizational and process abilities to drive exceptional performance. Given the focus on revenue and growth, the successful candidate will have a combination of sales leadership, a penchant for managing “by the numbers” and the ability to lead a team. That experience will have been gained at one of the recognized leaders in enterprise applications or systems technology firms. This individual must have experience leading to the transformation of a sales organization and a strong track record selling enterprise solution at the senior executive level. The ideal candidate will know how to build value for the Company and its customers and have proven experience in doing so over the short, medium and long term.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Masters/MBA a plus.
- Minimum 10 years selling enterprise software and engineering solutions required.
- EPC or like market preferred.
- 10+ years of direct sales management experience required.
- Familiarity with process modeling software products and services, advance process control / real time optimization, manufacturing execution systems and planning and scheduling solutions preferred.
- Executive presence and demeanor with consultative/execution relationship building selling skills a must.
- Demonstrated record of success in direct sales role.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage sales professionals.
- Availability to travel both within the Latin American Region and other regions as required
