Cloud Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting ExxonMobil's Azure platform.

Strong architecture and coding skills are desired in order understand the cloud environment, develop scripts, and code automated deployment of resources (PaaS, IaaS, network) in Azure.

Engineer will develop, automate, and implement platform solutions related to our core Azure environment.

This includes subscriptions, resource groups, management groups, and the Azure logic app to name a few. This role allows for direct collaboration with internal and external parties (especially Microsoft) to help design and implement the Azure platform environment.

Behavioral characteristics include: analytical mindset, self-starting, strong collaboration with others, customer focus, and initiative to drive a problem to a solution. Experience working in agile teams and using Azure DevOps for both managing work and deploying via pipelines is a bonus. para sumarse a una plataforma Healthtech que procesa más de 25 petabytes de datos por mes. Vas a trabajar junto a equipos de ingeniería y SRE diseñando, desplegando y administrando clusters de Kubernetes que soportan aplicaciones cloud-native de gran escala en múltiples entornos.

Se trata de un rol de alto impacto, donde tu experiencia ayudará a escalar y optimizar la infraestructura de una plataforma de datos en salud mediante la adopción de tecnologías cloud-native.

Lo que vas a hacer

• Diseñar, desplegar y mantener clusters de Kubernetes para entornos de desarrollo, staging y producción.
• Colaborar con equipos de software y operaciones para dar soporte a un ecosistema diverso de aplicaciones cloud.
• Implementar despliegues escalables y tolerantes a fallos en Kubernetes.
• Configurar y administrar herramientas de observabilidad como Grafana y Prometheus.

¿Cuáles son los principales desafíos?

• Diseñar, liderar y garantizar el cumplimiento de la estrategia de Gobierno Cloud de la organización.
• Liderar técnicamente en definición de arquitectura y mejores prácticas en proyectos.
• Diseño, desarrollo e implementación de herramientas, que permitan facilitar el Gobierno Cloud.
• Asegurar la alineación de la implementación de proyectos, con las definiciones de Gobierno Cloud y FinOps de la empresa.
• Proporcionar dirección técnica y mentoría a Cloud Engineer y otros miembros del equipo Cloud.
• Apoyo en la transición de arquitecturas tradicionales a la nube, optimizando costos y recursos de forma continua.

¿Cuáles son los requisitos?

• Orientamos la búsqueda a estudiantes o graduados de Ing. en Sistemas, Ing. Informática o afines
• Serán valorados aquellos candidatos/as con experiencia previa y certificaciones con Proveedores de Nube (AWS y/o GCP) (exclucyente)

Estamos en la búsqueda de
un/a Cloud Engineer
con experiencia en entornos cloud y virtuales, motivación por la tecnología y ganas de seguir creciendo junto a un equipo en expansión. En este rol, vas a ser responsable de diseñar, implementar y optimizar nuestra infraestructura en la nube y on-premise, asegurando que todo funcione de manera segura, escalable y eficiente.

Tus responsabilidades clave:

• Diseñar, desplegar y administrar infraestructura en la nube (redes, balanceadores, almacenamiento, CDN, máquinas virtuales, entre otros)
• Gestionar entornos On-Premise con Hyper-V, VMware y/o Proxmox.
• Administrar plataformas Cloud (Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS, GCP, Ionos), garantizando alto rendimiento y optimización de recursos.
• Implementar y mantener infraestructura como código (IaC) con Terraform.
• Desarrollar y automatizar pipelines de CI/CD para integración y entrega continua.
• Realizar pruebas de rendimiento y ajustar configuraciones para asegurar eficiencia.
• Colaborar con equipos de desarrollo para optimizar flujos de trabajo y la calidad del software.
• Evaluar nuevas tecnologías que fortalezcan la infraestructura existente.
• Implementar medidas de seguridad y cumplimiento normativo en toda la infraestructura.

Sobre vos:

• +6 años de experiencia gestionando infraestructura en la nube y entornos virtuales.
• Dominio de Cloud (preferentemente OCI y Azure).
• Conocimiento avanzado en virtualización (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Experiencia en DevOps: pipelines, CI/CD y scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Experiencia sólida en Terraform.
• Conocimientos avanzados en redes y configuración de firewalls.
• Certificaciones en Azure, AWS u OCI (deseable).
• Experiencia en pruebas de rendimiento (deseable).
