Job Overview

Qualifications

Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious bio & life science company, in their search for Business Systems Analyst (RPA Automation). This is a full-time opportunity based out of LATAM Region (Remote).

Solugenix seeks a Business Systems Analyst to join our RPA Automation team. The role will focus on business engagement, understanding, documenting the processes, and project management for our RPA Automation team. The BSA is expected to support multiple ongoing automation projects in Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Quality Management, and other domains.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in information technology, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Business Systems Analyst with 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years of experience working as a BSA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business and technology partners.
  • Good knowledge of large enterprise applications/platforms.
  • Strong Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies (such as Sprint and Scrum).
  • Experience working in product teams and possesses a service delivery mindset.
  • Self-motivated individual with demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and technologies and work collaboratively in teams (internal and external).
  • Demonstrated ability in leadership, collaboration, and project management.
  • Prior on-site (USA) experience in a client-facing role is a plus.
  • Prior experience with any RPA tools will be a huge plus.
  • Scrum certification or PMP certification will be an add-on.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and verbal).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define detailed requirements.
  • Create and maintain process design documents (PDDs), solution design documents (SDDs), and other BA artifacts. Perform process assessments and feasibility studies for automation.
  • Lead and facilitate daily stand-ups, scrum calls, and other project communication forums.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and the RPA development team, communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders. Manage change requests and ensure stakeholder buy-in throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define and execute test strategies for QA, UAT, and regression testing phases. Coordinate with business users during UAT and ensure defects are tracked and resolved
  • Work closely with the development team to clarify requirements and support project delivery needs.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes and propose enhancements for existing automations. Provide post go-live support and lead hyper care activities.
  • Oversee resource planning to ensure balanced workload distribution across developers.

BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY ANALYST (SALESFORCE EXPERIENCE)

The Solution Delivery team implements technology-based solutions in the areas of business intelligence, analytics, information management, reporting, and mobility. This team configures ZS’s proprietary software used to streamline business processes for commercial groups at client organizations. This team takes overall ownership of the delivery of the technical solution leading the design and development phases and collaborating with other teams for business requirements and system testing.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead development phase during implementation of world-class technology solutions to solve business problems across one or more client engagements;
  • Provide input to Senior Business Technology Analysts and delivery leads to build comprehensive implementation project plans;
  • Apply appropriate development methodologies (e.g.: agile, waterfall) and best practices (e.g.: mid-development client reviews, embedded QA procedures, unit testing) to ensure successful and timely completion;
  • Collaborate with other team members (involved in the requirements gathering, testing, roll-out, and operations phases) to ensure seamless transitions;
  • Understand business requirements & develop solutions to deliver state of the art custom solutions;
  • Take onus of the development of project outputs such as business case development, solution vision and design, user requirements, solution mockup, prototypes, test cases, and deployment plans;
  • Serve as a key member in driving user adoption and change management activities during inception, UAT, and post implementation.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree with specialization in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other computer related disciplines;
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience working on small/medium-scale technology solution delivery engagements;
  • Experience in testing OR developing Salesforce Cloud;
  • Experience in SOQL/SOSL, Java, JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS would be an added advantage;
  • Basic knowledge of data modelling, automation through Process Builders & Workflows, security in SFDC classic and lightning;
  • Good to have basic knowledge of projects on Agile methodologies like XP/SCRUM;
  • Exposure to working with web services will be an added advantage;
  • Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Certified would be an added advantage.

BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY ANALYST (SALESFORCE EXPERIENCE)

The Solution Delivery team implements technology-based solutions in the areas of business intelligence, analytics, information management, reporting, and mobility. This team configures ZS’s proprietary software used to streamline business processes for commercial groups at client organizations. This team takes overall ownership of the delivery of the technical solution leading the design and development phases and collaborating with other teams for business requirements and system testing.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead development phase during implementation of world-class technology solutions to solve business problems across one or more client engagements;
  • Provide input to Senior Business Technology Analysts and delivery leads to build comprehensive implementation project plans;
  • Apply appropriate development methodologies (e.g.: agile, waterfall) and best practices (e.g.: mid-development client reviews, embedded QA procedures, unit testing) to ensure successful and timely completion;
  • Collaborate with other team members (involved in the requirements gathering, testing, roll-out, and operations phases) to ensure seamless transitions;
  • Understand business requirements & develop solutions to deliver state of the art custom solutions;
  • Take onus of the development of project outputs such as business case development, solution vision and design, user requirements, solution mockup, prototypes, test cases, and deployment plans;
  • Serve as a key member in driving user adoption and change management activities during inception, UAT, and post implementation.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree with specialization in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other computer related disciplines;
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience working on small/medium-scale technology solution delivery engagements;
  • Experience in testing OR developing Salesforce Cloud;
  • Experience in SOQL/SOSL, Java, JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS would be an added advantage;
  • Basic knowledge of data modelling, automation through Process Builders & Workflows, security in SFDC classic and lightning;
  • Good to have basic knowledge of projects on Agile methodologies like XP/SCRUM;
  • Exposure to working with web services will be an added advantage;
  • Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Certified would be an added advantage.

  • Support the project lead in project delivery, including project planning, people management, staffing, and risk mitigation
  • Manage a diverse team with various skill sets while providing mentorship and coaching to junior members
  • Lead task planning and distribution among team members for timely completion of projects with high-quality results
  • Guide the project deliverables such as business case development, solution vision and design, user requirements, prototypes, technical architecture, test cases, deployment plans and operations strategy

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, MIS or related field with academic excellence
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in delivering small/medium-scale technology solutions
  • Ability to lead project teams, drive end-to-end activities, meet milestones, and provide mentorship/guidance for the team growth
  • Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, SQL, data warehousing and reporting
  • Experience with big data concepts, data management, data analytics and cloud platforms
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including expertise in algorithms and data structures

Additional Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to structure thoughts logically during discussions and presentations
  • Capability to simplify complex concepts into easily understandable frameworks and presentations
  • Proficiency in working within a virtual global team environment, contributing to the timely delivery of multiple projects
  • Travel to other offices as required to collaborate with clients and internal project teams
