Responsabilidades:

  • Diseñar, mantener y optimizar pipelines de CI/CD para despliegues seguros y eficientes.
  • Gestionar y automatizar la infraestructura en Kubernetes con Terraform y Helm.
  • Implementar y mejorar la observabilidad con Prometheus y Grafana.
  • Administrar la infraestructura en AWS y GCP, con enfoque en IAM, seguridad y optimización de costos.
  • Garantizar la seguridad y cumplimiento mediante herramientas como Trivy y políticas de IAM estrictas.
  • Monitoreo y troubleshooting de entornos productivos para asegurar alta disponibilidad.
  • Participar en la definición de estándares y buenas prácticas para contenedores y microservicios.
  • Contribuir en la preparación para certificaciones de seguridad como ISO 27001.
  • Coordinar y ejecutar pruebas de seguridad y pentestings.

Requisitos tecnicos imprescindibles:

  • Experiencia con Kubernetes.
  • Administración de infraestructura en AWS y/o GCP.
  • CI/CD con GitHub Actions, ArgoCD o similares.
  • Infraestructura como código con Terraform.
  • Redes y seguridad en entornos cloud.
  • Experiencia con logging, monitoreo y observabilidad (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, CloudWatch, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).
  • Scripting en Bash y/o Python.

Requisitos tecnicos deseables:

  • Experiencia en migraciones de infraestructura entre nubes (GCP → AWS).

The Role and Team

As part of Medallia's Cloud Engineering Team, Core Infrastructure thrives on collaboration, mutual support, openness to new ideas, and solving problems at a deep, systemic level.

This team is responsible for building and maintaining large distributed components that run Medallia's cloud. Our code serves millions of requests per second and does so with sub-second latency and fault tolerance. We handle everything from scale: compute, data storage, to synchronization and coordination of large server clusters, to providing a runtime environment for all Medallia's applications.

We are looking for candidates who share a passion for tackling complexity and building platforms that can scale through multiple orders of magnitude.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot complex problems that may span the full service stack.
  • Deploy and update applications within our systems foundation (compute, storage, network, etc.).
  • Operate our large scale Kubernetes Clusters in both clouds and Colocation data centers.
  • Proactively monitor and manage the availability of infrastructure and applications.
  • Be a part of the Cloud Infrastructure team on-call rotation for escalations.
  • Design code and operate core backend software components to manage Infrastructure.
  • Build automation to enable the cloud to be automatically maintainable.
  • Code primarily using Golang, Python.
  • Interface with application development teams to incorporate requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the DevOps Lead to document, map, and improve infrastructure and pipelines.
  • Design, implement, and manage AWS and Azure infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, Azure Monitor).
  • Assist with hardening security and implementing compliance best practices across environments.
  • Automate operational processes wherever possible.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and performance.
  • Participate in troubleshooting incidents and remediating root causes.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a hands-on DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
  • Deep familiarity with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, ALB, RDS, S3, DocumentDb, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route53).
  • Strong experience with Azure services (VMs, VNET, Azure AD, Storage Accounts, Functions, AKS, App Gateway, Monitor).
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code skills (Terraform preferred; ARM Templates or Bicep a plus).
  • Proficiency with at least one CI/CD system (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows IIS administration and shell scripting.
  • Working knowledge of container technologies and orchestration (e.g., ECS, EKS, Fargate, AKS).
  • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in Git-based workflows.
  • Demonstrated fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting client-facing environments in a consulting or agency environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others, proactively assess issues, and take ownership of solutions.

Position: DaaS Senior Consultant (also referred to as Cloud Services Senior Consultant)

Objective: Manage real-time data and cloud applications with a focus on Microsoft Azure, address customer challenges, propose effective solutions, build relationships, and ensure a smooth and efficient service experience for customers.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze client operations and business processes to document and propose efficiencies.
  • Document "as is" and "to be" processes and describe changes required to migrate to the desired capability.
  • Propose solutions to solve problems, improve performance, and reduce costs for customers.
  • Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet customer needs.
  • Monitor system operation to detect potential problems.
  • Design system architecture, size systems, help sales estimate costs, and implement the solution from blueprint, configuration, testing and training through post-implementation support.
  • Provide on-call support and fault diagnosis, isolation, and correction for complex challenges to limit, address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Bridge internal/external customer needs to additional products/services offered by the organization during service interactions.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of technical competency and knowledge to the project in accordance with KBC standards and best practices.
  • Complete implementation work/tasks for the project as assigned and collaborate with onshore/offshore teams.
  • Raise issues to Team Lead as appropriate to address quality/scope/schedule.
  • Discuss and recommend technical developments to improve quality of applications/portal software and supporting infrastructure to meet users' needs.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and relevant regulatory codes, ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Innovate and manage pipelines, and participate in digital strategy/execution as part of project delivery.
Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Experience with Azure Cloud Services; relational and time-series databases; development experience (Python, NodeJS, PowerShell, and/or C#); OSIsoft PI System and product suite; IIoT networking; troubleshooting LAN/WAN; Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible); ability to build prototypes to demonstrate solutions; ability to plan, organize, and manage work for self and direct reports.

Skills & Attributes: Strong communication and writing skills; ability to manage projects; ability to communicate complex technical issues to customers; ability to advise and defend a professional point of view; experience coordinating project work on 4–6 month projects.

Join us at GlobalLogic Latinoamérica as a Cloud Architect experienced in AWS to support our Cyber Security Services group. In this role, you will work closely with internal development and security teams to deploy and maintain internal AWS infrastructure used during penetration testing and other client-facing engagements. You will also help to design and validate the implementation of partner solutions in client cloud deployments and environments in AWS and other cloud providers. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience designing and deploying complex AWS environments using infrastructure-as-code to ensure consistency and change control.

Job Description

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • BS or above in related Information Technology field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of directly relevant systems engineering and architecture experience including requirements definition, architecture development, development of use cases and stories, and systems integration & test

  • 5+ years of experience supporting cloud architecture, design, implementation, operations and automation in AWS, Azure or GCP.

  • 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and orchestration/automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Professional/Expert level certifications in AWS or Azure or GCP

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS (not required):

  • Previous experience supporting clients from within a professional services organization

  • Project management experience for individual and team projects(ability to track detailed tasks and ensure

timely delivery)

  • Experience automating workflows in GitLab/GitHub with Terraform and Ansible.

  • Expertise with serverless, microservices, and other modern application architectures

  • Familiarity with configuration baseline standards such as CIS Benchmarks & DISA STIG

  • Proven expertise in the implementation of encryption technologies (SSL, encryption, PKI)

  • Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, etc.

  • CISSP, CISM, or CISA certifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Engage in developing client cloud and security strategies, vision-state architectures, roadmaps, and planning activities.

  • Engage with clients to perform cloud configuration and maturity reviews.

  • Coordinate with clients and team members to identify the right balance of defense-in-depth techniques to translate customer's goals into a secure and effective solution.

  • Engage in designing and implementing secure and compliant enterprise servers, network infrastructure, boundary protection, and cloud architectures using Infrastructure-as-Code.

  • Work across a myriad of technology stacks in the leading cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP, researching how to understand and utilize native services in deployments.

  • Provide support to the security assessment and authorization process.

  • Authoring and peer review of detailed design documentation, including security documentation and inclusive of vendor best practices.
