Sobre el Rol

Estamos buscando un/a Cloud Operations Engineer (especialista en Kubernetes) para sumarse a una plataforma Healthtech que procesa más de 25 petabytes de datos por mes. Vas a trabajar junto a equipos de ingeniería y SRE diseñando, desplegando y administrando clusters de Kubernetes que soportan aplicaciones cloud-native de gran escala en múltiples entornos.

Se trata de un rol de alto impacto, donde tu experiencia ayudará a escalar y optimizar la infraestructura de una plataforma de datos en salud mediante la adopción de tecnologías cloud-native.

Lo que vas a hacer

  • Diseñar, desplegar y mantener clusters de Kubernetes para entornos de desarrollo, staging y producción.
  • Colaborar con equipos de software y operaciones para dar soporte a un ecosistema diverso de aplicaciones cloud.
  • Implementar despliegues escalables y tolerantes a fallos en Kubernetes.
  • Configurar y administrar herramientas de observabilidad como Grafana y Prometheus.
  • Optimizar continuamente la infraestructura para mejorar rendimiento y costos.
  • Automatizar infraestructura con ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize, GitHub Actions y Gradle.
  • Dar soporte a bases de datos distribuidas NoSQL (Scylla o Cassandra) y a cargas de trabajo en OpenSearch.
  • Implementar buenas prácticas de seguridad en Kubernetes (RBAC, políticas de red).
  • Participar en la gestión de incidentes, incluyendo análisis de causa raíz y planes de recuperación ante desastres.
  • Mantener documentación técnica detallada y manuales operativos.
  • 3+ años de experiencia administrando clusters de Kubernetes productivos.
  • Experiencia previa como Cloud Ops Engineer, SRE o rol similar enfocado en Kubernetes.
  • Sólido entendimiento de arquitectura y despliegues en Kubernetes.
  • Experiencia práctica con Docker, Helm, Kustomize y plataformas cloud (AWS, Azure o GCP).
  • Conocimiento en Scylla o Cassandra y en OpenSearch o Elasticsearch.
  • Buen entendimiento de redes cloud, DNS y balanceo de carga.
  • Habilidades para debugging, performance tuning y sistemas distribuidos.
  • Conocimiento de buenas prácticas de seguridad en Kubernetes.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y trabajo en equipo.
  • Familiaridad con estándares de seguridad y compliance en entornos cloud-native.

  • Provide the framework and templates on which development teams can deploy and run services, coding configuration management and infrastructure recipes.
  • Evolve and maintain environments managed by the Cloud Services organization.
  • Participate in defining standards with a DevOps/SRE mindset and promote them.
  • Design and automate complex operations to scale in distributed datacenters around the world.
  • Enable developers to take ownership of their code and be accountable for its operability.
Your day-to-day activities:
  • Provide development teams the right tool for each technical challenge and promote best practices in deployments and infrastructure management.
  • Cooperate with operations teams in order to automate common manual tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date on new functionalities, best practices and ways to implement solutions in a variety of open source software stacks.
  • Perform code reviews, technical analysis of existing code, and refactors to improve infrastructure code quality.
  • Provide guidance and support to operations teams, contributing on the maintenance and administration of the platform at the OS level.
About you:
  • Superior analytical/troubleshooting skills.
  • Cloud administration and containerization experience with technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker are essential.
  • Knowledge of automation: configuration management (e.g. Puppet), observability, Bash.
  • Infrastructure-as-code knowledge (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
  • Software development skills (e.g. Python) are a plus.
  • Knowledge (or willingness to learn) of infrastructure management technologies (Packer, Terraform, LXD, KVM, etc.)
  • Advanced Linux administration knowledge. (Nice to have)

Netrix Global is looking for a AWS Cloud Engineer for the Professional Services – Cloud Engineering department.

We are looking for a people with experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). This person will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure the high availability, scalability, and security of our applications and services in the cloud.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructures using AWS
  • Manage and optimize AWS resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain infrastructure health

What You Will Bring To The Table
  • Proven experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Deep knowledge of services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and related services
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and system administration
  • Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience in monitoring and logging using tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus
  • Ability to write scripts in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience working in Unix-like environments
  • Knowledge of Python, Typescript, Golang or other scripting languages
  • Knowledge of networking and cloud security concepts
  • Experience with CI/CD and continuous integration and delivery tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus

For this particular position, you will focus on designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining a wide range of environments based on technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Openstack, AWS, Puppet and much more.

Your challenges and objectives:

  • Provide the framework and templates on which development teams can deploy and run services, coding configuration management and infrastructure recipes.
  • Evolve and maintain environments managed by the Cloud Services organization.
  • Participate in defining standards with a DevOps/SRE mindset and promote them.
  • Design and automate complex operations to scale in distributed datacenters around the world.
  • Enable developers to take ownership of their code and be accountable for its operability.
  • Provide development teams the right tool for each technical challenge and promote best practices in deployments and infrastructure management.
  • Cooperate with operations teams in order to automate common manual tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date on new functionalities, best practices and ways to implement solutions in a variety of open source software stacks.
  • Perform code reviews, technical analysis of existing code, and refactors to improve infrastructure code quality.
  • Provide guidance and support to operations teams, contributing on the maintenance and administration of the platform at the OS level.

About you:

  • Cloud administration and containerization experience with technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker are essential.
  • Knowledge of automation: configuration management (e.g. Puppet), observability, Bash.
  • Infrastructure-as-code knowledge (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
  • Software development skills (e.g. Python) are a plus.
  • Knowledge (or willingness to learn) infrastructure management technologies (Packer, Terraform, LXD, KVM, etc.)
  • Advanced Linux administration knowledge. (Nice to have)

  • Formar parte del setup y take over de implementaciones y migraciones a nubes públicas;
  • Resolver y dar seguimiento de incidentes en infraestructura Cloud;
  • Mantener la comunicación con líderes de proyectos, clientes y sus diferentes áreas de IT;
  • Implementar y mejorar los procedimientos operativos;
  • Generar base de conocimiento sobre los proyectos e incidencias;
  • Diseñar e implementar arquitecturas cloud para una operación escalable;
  • Dar seguimiento y soporte a proyectos de DevOps;
    Implementar, mejorar y realizar seguimiento de políticas de resguardo de datos.
Tareas principales:
  • Brindar soluciones basándose en buenas prácticas cloud, implementando diseños de arquitecturas escalables y de alta disponibilidad;
  • Crear, mantener e identificar mejoras en el proceso de desarrollo e implementación;
  • Apoyar y dar soporte a proyectos, con foco en mejorar su eficiencia y rendimiento.
Requisitos del puesto:
  • Profundo entendimiento de configuración y administración de ambientes Linux;
  • Amplia experiencia en entornos LAMP;
  • Mínima experiencia en administración de S. O. Windows;
  • Administración de Aplicaciones Web: Apache, Nginx, Memcached, Varnish, etc.
  • Estar familiarizado con los servicios de nube de AWS;
  • Sólidos conocimientos en RDBMs: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL;
  • Conocimiento de Networking, Routing y Vlans;
  • Experiencia en Bash Scripting;
  • Uso y configuración de CDNs.
Experiencia y conocimientos deseables:
  • Tecnologías de virtualización comoCloudStack, OpenStack, vSphere, etc.
  • Estudios en ingeniería, ciencias informáticas o en un campo relacionado;

About The Opportunity

Netrix Global is looking for a AWS Cloud Engineer for the Professional Services – Cloud Engineering department.

We are looking for a people with experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). This person will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure the high availability, scalability, and security of our applications and services in the cloud.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructures using AWS
  • Manage and optimize AWS resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain infrastructure health
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (IaC) for infrastructure management
  • Ensure data security and compliance with security policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the cloud infrastructure
  • Perform troubleshooting and incident resolution in production environments
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies
  • Build a solid knowledge base on AWS Cloud Services and the cloud ecosystem
  • Educate clients of all sizes about the value proposition of Cloud Services
  • Attend training sessions for clients who are considering or are already using AWS
  • Collaborate with experienced cloud engineers to design and share knowledge of best practices among the AWS community
What You Will Bring To The Table
  • Proven experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Deep knowledge of services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and related services
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and system administration
  • Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience in monitoring and logging using tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus
  • Ability to write scripts in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience working in Unix-like environments
  • Knowledge of Python, Typescript, Golang or other scripting languages
  • Knowledge of networking and cloud security concepts
  • Experience with CI/CD and continuous integration and delivery tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus
  • AWS Certification (or equivalent experience)
  • Advanced English
