+ Measure the uptime and availability of cloud infrastructure resources, such as virtual machines, databases, storage, and networking components, to ensure high levels of service availability and reliability. Continuous improvement inthe reduction of MTTR.
+ Oversee proper incident management and take on a lead role in managing severity 1 and severity 2 incidents during yourprimaryshiftincludingcoordinatingresourcesneededtoreduceourMTTR.

+ Ensurecompliancewith cloudgovernancepolicies, includingadherencetoorganizationalstandards, managing cloud resource usage, access controls, and permissions, and providing recommendations for improving governance practices.
+ Trackthesuccessfuldeliveryofcloudinfrastructureprojects,includingmeetingprojecttimelines,budgets,and quality standards, and ensuring smooth and efficient transitions of applications, workloads, and data to cloud platforms.
+ Maintaindocumentationofcloudinfrastructuredesigns,configurations,andoperationalprocedures,aswellas providingregularreportingoncloudinfrastructureperformance,availability,andsecurity.
+ Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including network security, identity and access management (IAM),dataencryption,auditing,andcompliancewith industrystandardsandregulations.
+ Implement and manage automation tools, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) techniques to streamline cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management, as well as facilitating collaboration between development and operations teams.

Job Responsibilities
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS that meets the needs of our business and technical teams
- Developing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources
- Implementing comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure system health, performance, and availability
- Managing logging and auditing systems with AWS CloudTrail and the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack to provide visibility and traceability of infrastructure events
- Collaborating with software engineering, security, and operations teams to define infrastructure requirements, architect solutions, and implement best practices
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD to automate application deployment and infrastructure changes

- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members
- Participating in on-call rotations to promptly respond to and resolve infrastructure incidents, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations

- Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, including core services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, and Lambda

- Skilled in using AWS CloudFormation templates for infrastructure automation and orchestration

- ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana): Experience managing centralized logging solutions using the ELK stack to aggregate, analyze, and visualize logs

- Networking: Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts including VPC design, subnets, routing, VPN, security groups, and load balancing

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and IT implementation, with AWS expertise preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages and modern development methodologies.
- Track record of leading enterprise-scale software delivery, architecture design, and migration planning.

This entry-level position contributes to the design, integration, and automation of enterprise cloud identity solutions within our IAM organization. The engineer will work alongside senior team members on Google Cloud Identity deployments while gaining hands-on exposure to AWS services such as Managed AD and Identity Center.
