This position is responsible for the planning, installation, implementation, and training of Fortra Power software solutions for customers, specifically for our Robot and Powertech brands.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Deliver complex software implementation projects from contract acceptance through to Go Live.
- Guide customers through best practice processes to help ensure successful adoption of solution.
- Work closely with the assigned Project Manager to ensure accurate description of services, including estimate of effort and completion date.
- Create high level acceptance test plans to confirm solution functionality and demonstrate functionality to customers.
- Configure and document software settings and deployment architecture to meet Fortra and customer requirements.
- Resolve any identified issues or concerns related to the software implementation.
- Document and escalate complex issues to Support.
- Train end users, answer software questions, and provide training aids.
- Work collaboratively to assess impact of change requests for effort estimation and capacity planning purposes.
- Provide communication of task status to Project Manager through regular status reporting and other presentation vehicles.
- Assist in the monitoring of project-related issues or escalations (of an urgent or high priority nature) and build response strategies and actions to address issues.
- Travel up to and sometimes more than 25% to customer locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A four-year degree is preferred. Equivalent work experience and accreditations will be considered
- 2+ years of IBM i Administration experience
- 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting software products.
- Confident and positive attitude in facing complex organizations and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and quality.
- Effective interpersonal and professional communication skills, both verbal and written. Builds strong customer relationships through responsiveness and expertise.
- Strong presentation skills. Comfortable leading a small group through discovery workshops and training sessions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple projects and responsibilities.
Ideal candidates will also have:
- 2+ years of Fortra’s Robot suite experience:
- 2+ years of Fortra’s Powertech experience
- CL programming experience
- IBM i security expertise
- DB2 SQL experience

The opportunity

Your key responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for high-quality execution of significant HR processes, including compensation, performance management and career development. You’ll serve as the frontline support to customer groups as well as provide strategic support to functional leadership on people initiatives. You’ll address and resolve a wide range of employee inquiries and provide guidance to our business leaders. Utilizing data analytics, you’ll provide insight on headcount, salaries and budgets and inform on solutions as needed. You may also be responsible for supervising and mentoring other team members.

Weave together vast amounts Mastercard, client & 3rd party data assets to investigate trends, build propensity models, develop data visualizations, and synthesize millions of data points into a cohesive story. o How does a financial institution's fraud/authorization metrics fare against competitors, and what are strategies that can help it be best-in-class?
o How is a technology customer's market share changing over time, and are there any segments where the client is relatively under penetrated?
- Team members support typically support several customers concurrently, and include both short and long term projects that can last anywhere from 4 weeks up to 1 year.
Marketing
- Develop strategies and lead implementation of marketing campaigns and engagements; evaluate results to drive performance on behalf of Mastercard's clients. Provide deep direct marketing expertise across channels, leveraging customer, behavioral and transactional data and defining tangible results to both the client and Mastercard.
- Sampling of questions we help our clients answer:
o How does a fintech client optimize new customer acquisition and existing customers' life cycle value through effective targeting and communications?
o How does a retail client drive foot traffic into store post-covid and/or optimize their ecommerce website to increase basket-size and average spend per customer?
o How can a large financial institution best execute on a portfolio conversion - for example, after purchasing another issuer's portfolio - including components like internal and external communications, market launch, and more?
- Team members typically support 1-3 projects from any domain and build fundamental marketing and consulting toolkit.

Qualifications:
Graduated or expecting graduation between Dec 2024 and March 2026
Outstanding record of academic achievement
