We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated GCP Cloud Engineer Lead/Architect to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in microservices development, enterprise systems integration, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and GCP services, with a passion for automation, security, and performance optimization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead a team of software engineers to design and develop **Python-based microservices** using docker containerization for GKE deployment
+ Work with architects to create design, and document design, best practices, development guidelines etc
+ Collaborate with cross function team to understand functional and nonfunctional requirements
+ Develop a code for key architectural components and business requirement features
+ Work with DevOps and AWS Platform engineer to provision, configure and deploy workload to GCP using docker and GKE
+ Develop and maintain CI-CD pipelines to deploy workloads to various environments
+ Review team deliverable to ensure code follows design and development best practice
**Key Skills:**
+ **Python:** Strong experience in building microservices/REST API using Python using FastAPI, Flask, Django or similar
+ Knowledge of **Kubernetes (GCP GKE)** for container orchestration, deployment and debugging.
+ Experience with containerization technologies like **Docker**
+ Strong experience in **GCP services (** e.g. Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Secret Manager, Cloud CDN, Cloud Armar, Cloud Function, Cloud Run, API Gateway, IAM)
+ Experience designing and integrating **SQL databases** like PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or similar
+ Experience with **NoSQL databases** like MongoDB, Google Firestore/Datastore, or similar Experience unit testing python code with **pytest, unittest or similar**

- Work with customer technical leads, client executives and Google to manage and deliver successful migration to Google Workspace.
- Provide domain expertise in enterprise productivity and collaboration solutions, creating and delivering best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles and technical presentations adapted to different levels of business and technical stakeholders.
- Educate and align with various Google stakeholders on the Go-To-Market (GTM) Workspace solution strategy and offerings. Improve on Google Workspace product features based on customer and market needs.
- Build relationships with partners and evaluate their technical solution offerings. Translate business goals into digital strategy and outcomes.
- Manage all aspects of service delivery, including pipeline, capacity and quality management, working both with cross-functional groups within Google and with executive contacts in system integrator and client organizations to assure positive customer outcomes from Workspace.

**Minimum qualifications:**
