Description: This is a full-time remote role for a Creative Strategist at Grüns. As a Creative Strategist, you will contribute to our growth marketing efforts. You will work closely with the entire creative team to develop effective creative campaigns and optimize conversion focused ad creative. Key responsibilities include creative direction, creative strategy, brand strategy, copywriting, and research. This is a fully remote position with U.S.-based hours (PST or EST).

What you will do:

  • Creative Development: Generate innovative ideas for static, gif, and video ad creatives and develop comprehensive briefs.
  • Scriptwriting: Craft compelling scripts for video ads and oversee their production.
  • Content Sourcing: Identify and source content from existing assets, internal talent, and external creators.
  • Editing Collaboration: Work closely with video editors and designers, leveraging your editing experience to guide the creative process.
  • Platform Focus: Develop and optimize ads for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, with a strong emphasis on video content.
  • Performance Metrics: Focus on metrics like nCAC, CTR, and scroll-stop /thumb stop rate to ensure creatives drive engagement and sales.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Brief engaging and high-converting paid media content
  • Work alongside our graphic designers, video editors and videographers
  • Review paid analytics to improve results
  • Coordinate with influencers to run whitelisted content
  • Source talented creators to create the content

We are looking for a Creative Strategist to join our growing Marketing Team on a full-time basis.

This is a full-time remote contractor role.

We are seeking someone preferably with a background in B2C marketing.

Although the role is remote, the candidate must be available during EU hours (GMT).

Your primary role will center on digital media advertising with a focus on enhancing our ad campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Creative Leadership & Execution
    • Own monthly projections for creative concepts and ensure 95%+ of forecasted concepts are fully ideated, scripted, and launched at or under the $1 5 target cost per concept

  • Performance Management
    • Maintain a 20% win rate across all new creative concepts launched monthly (defined as beating or meeting target CPA)

Requirements

About us: Apply Digital’s Marketing Services division is a rapidly expanding full-service Martech team with team members in the US, Europe, LATAM, and Asia. We specialize in cross-channel content strategy, creation, and distribution (including email, paid social, push, and SMS) and MarTech implementations. We work with over 50 clients, ranging from YETI, Upside, and Nutrafol to marquee brands such as A+E Networks, Afterpay, and Stanley Black & Decker.

We are seeking to hire a full-time Senior Marketing Strategist to provide strategic support to our top-tier clients. You’ll engage with internal cross-functional partners and clients to ensure that client business objectives are translated into actionable and impactful digital cross-channel strategies, with precise measurements of success and high-quality standards for execution.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with clients to provide strategic planning, ideation, and optimization of new cross-channel (email, web, push, social, SMS, etc.) campaign programs, personalization initiatives, and overall marketing calendar planning, primarily for lifecycle and retention programs. Additionally, write briefs and approve all created assets.
  • Ensure that all recommendations have a clear and concise methodology and are appropriately sized to maximize impact, ease of execution, and confidence in the results.
  • Continually track and develop a clear record of incremental revenue sourced from Ragnarok-owned initiatives.
  • Develop strong relationships and rapport with clients, instilling confidence in agency work, advocacy, and referrals.
  • Participate in sales pitches and scoping conversations — serving as a multi-channel growth subject matter expert and helping to identify the appropriate level of effort required to support new projects, as well as extensions, renewals, and expanding scopes.
  • Ongoing analytics and optimization support, creating dashboards and reports that show metrics and solutions for continued growth or strategic pivots.
Minimum requirements to be considered
  • 8+ years of experience providing lifecycle or retention marketing strategy (direct agency experience preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge in email, SMS, and push channels, as well as top-of-funnel experience.
  • Solid track record of growth marketing successes, and hands-on platform experience with automation tools such as Iterable, Braze, Segment, Klaviyo, Customer.io, etc.
  • Direct experience leveraging data for complex personalization marketing programs.
  • Direct experience in providing marketing campaign and program analysis using BI (Looker, Tableau, etc.) or analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple work streams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of AI decisioning tools is a bonus.
  • Hands-on approach that delivers sharp strategic insights for clients with a strong technical edge and pulse on trends related to consumer behavior, cross-channel marketing, growth strategies, and digital.
