  • Analizar y diagnosticar Data Products como tablas, dashboards, métricas, modelos, con el objetivo de diseñar e implementar iniciativas que mejoren su calidad, integridad, y discoverability.

  • Diseñar y escalar soluciones para el delivery de oportunidades de mejora en todo Mercado Libre, asegurando que los equipos reciban insights accionables sobre la salud, eficiencia y gobernanza de sus activos.

  • Definir y ejecutar procesos de lifecycle management junto a los equipos propietarios de las distintas plataformas como BigQuery, Data Flow, Looker, Tableau, entre otras, incluyendo acciones de depuración, metadata enrichment, ownership update y catalogación.

  • Desarrollar y mantener workflows en la plataforma, incluyendo la creación de APIs que habiliten el consumo y exposición de información crítica para otros equipos.

  • Definir y escalar procesos de linaje y criticidad, asegurando una trazabilidad completa de los activos de datos y evaluando su relevancia en los flujos de decisión y operación del negocio.

  • Diseñar mecanismos para medir el Business Impact Analysis de los Data Products, evaluando su relevancia y contribución al negocio desde una mirada técnica y financiera.


Requisitos:

  • Contar con experiencia trabajando en proyectos con SQL y Python-

  • Tener experiencia trabajando en herramientas con GEN AI.

  • Contar con conocimientos sobre arquitecturas y pipelines de integración: APIs, procesos.

  • 4+ years experience in business and data analysis, preferably within financial services or similar sectors
  • Experience querying Corelation Keystone is highly preferred
  • Experience in building advanced, clear and concise data visualization dashboards (Tableau)
  • 1+ years of experience using query tools against relational database to analyze data quality and content
  • Strong analytical, excellent communication, collaboration skills, problem solving, and work management skills
  • Customer-focused ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft BI tools like SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Azure DevOps etc
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (B2 level)

Education/Certifications/Licenses

  • Bachelors Degree and 4+ years work experience preferably in the areas of business and data analysis
  • Preferred Masters degree in quantitative field such as Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer science, or related field
  • Proficient in BI tools like Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, or Power BI
  • Competency with leading Business Intelligence and analytical tools
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint)

The Data Modeler is responsible for supporting Data Model solutions that conform to group standards, including investigation of development and production data issues. This role collaborates with other team members in support activities.

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain Data Models and Power BI Datasets.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy between Power BI Datasets and Data Warehouse.
  • Gain working knowledge of source data systems and tools.
  • Review and maintain all solution documentation.
  • Operate in a high-paced environment supporting a broad range of technical solutions.
Basic Qualifications Required
  • Skilled in data modeling and Entity Relationship Diagrams.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and ad-hoc queries.
  • Experience with Power BI Stack.
  • English at C1 level or equivalent.
  • Good documentation and requirements engineering skills.
  • Ability to work remotely with limited supervision.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabrics or Cloud technologies (Azure, GCP).
