RYZ is looking for a Social Media Assistant who will be the primary owner for the overall strategy, development, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns. You will handle the day-to-day management of all platforms (IG, FB, LinkedIn) and build creative campaigns and assets that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption for our brand. This is a unique opportunity to play an influential role in a rapidly growing business. You will have demonstrable expertise in building large-scale marketing campaigns, brand building, and post-campaign measurement. You will be comfortable working across several internal teams to bring your campaigns to life.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of professional non-internship social media marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of the ins and outs of all social media channels, use them effectively for work and personal.
  • In-depth knowledge of the relevant and upcoming social media channels + platforms, and how each platform can be leveraged in different scenarios.
  • Extensive experience in content creation and curation including conception, overseeing, and executing photoshoots, sourcing and managing content creators, and overseeing execution of key deliverables, sourcing and curating found-content.
  • Robust background in community management and experience working with community management tools including Sprinklr, Sprout Social, etc.
  • Proven ability to write and edit communications and articulate the brand 'voice' in a creative, compelling, and witty manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience executing global marketing programs with a targeted, localized approach.
  • Writing skills appropriate for demand generation, particularly campaign briefs, email, web, social, newsletters, and campaign ads; both short-form and long-form.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Advanced experience with analytical tools.

THE ROLE

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • C1/C2 English writing and speaking skills
  • 3 to 10 years of proven experience managing social media platforms and creating digital marketing strategies
  • Strong writing and communication skills with a creative flair
  • A quiet home office with a desk and office chair
  • Stable internet with at least 10 MBPS download & 2 MBPS upload speed
  • A laptop/desktop with 8GB RAM, a 1.6GHz processor, and 50GB of free hard-drive space, a headset, and a smartphone
  • Access to a backup place of work in case they suffer a power cut or internet failure, as well as a secondary backup internet option (mobile hotspot, Multibam, WiPod, etc.)

As our Social Media & Community Specialist, you’ll be the voice of DolarApp across all major social and community channels. What you'll be doing
  • Community Engagement: Manage and grow our online communities, especially across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina – moderating conversations, responding to users, and reinforcing our voice and values

  • Customer Care Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the community and our Customer Support team. Flag issues, escalate complex cases, and help ensure that concerns raised on social channels are resolved quickly and accurately

  • Fraud Monitoring: Be vigilant about detecting and reporting suspicious or fraudulent activity on social media. Coordinate with internal teams to mitigate risks and protect our users.

  • Listening & Trends: Monitor conversations, trends, and sentiment across platforms to identify new engagement opportunities and spot early signals of potential problems.

What you'll need
  • Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese is a must

  • At least 1 year of experience in Social Media / Community Management – preferably in tech, fintech, or consumer startups

  • Creativity, empathy, and cultural awareness (especially across LatAm) – you understand how to resonate with varied audiences, and can handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy

  • A bias toward action: You’re resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working independently
