Actualmente nos encontramos en búsqueda de Backend Engineers / Data Engineers para sumarse a nuestro equipo de tecnología.
¿Cuáles serán los principales desafíos del rol?- Diseñar, construir y escalar aplicaciones y pipelines que procesan grandes volúmenes de datos.
- Participar en decisiones de arquitectura técnica con foco en escalabilidad, resiliencia y eficiencia de costos.
- Ser owner de las soluciones que desarrolles, desde su diseño hasta su operación en producción.
- Implementar y optimizar servicios distribuidos usando tecnologías como Apache Kafka, Cassandra, Spark, Flink, entre otros.
- Escribir código backend limpio, eficiente y mantenible, siguiendo buenas prácticas de ingeniería de software.
- Participar activamente en revisiones de código, promoviendo la mejora continua en el equipo.
- Monitorear el estado de salud de las aplicaciones y pipelines, asegurando su disponibilidad y performance.
- Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con equipos de datos, producto y frontend para ofrecer soluciones integradas.
- +5 años de experiencia desarrollando soluciones backend escalables.
- Experiencia comprobada trabajando con aplicaciones de alto volumen de datos.
- Conocimientos sólidos en arquitecturas distribuidas, mensajería y almacenamiento como Kafka y Cassandra.
- Experiencia práctica con motores de procesamiento distribuido como Apache Spark, Apache Flink o similares.
- Buen entendimiento de estructuras de datos, algoritmos y optimización de recursos.
- Experiencia en desarrollo frontend (Angular, React u otras tecnologías modernas).
- Familiaridad con contenedores y herramientas como Docker.
- Conocimientos en bases de datos y soluciones cloud.

How will you contribute to our magical experience?:
The Software Engineer will join the System Engineering & Integration team within Disney's Media Engineering organization to help build a platform that enhances testing and integration workflows for adjacent development teams. This platform will focus on automated data validation and ensuring integration quality prior to production deployments, with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and reliability.
The role involves building backend applications primarily in Java and/or Python, working with cloud technologies (AWS), and implementing automated workflows using orchestration tools like Temporal. The engineer will contribute to resilient backend systems, optimize data processing flows, and ensure high standards in system observability and dependability.
As part of a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, the Software Engineer will engage in the full software development lifecycle—from design and implementation to deployment. This position is ideal for self-starters who enjoy technical challenges and are eager to grow their skills while working collaboratively across disciplines.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for:
- Design and develop backend applications in Java and/or Python to support integration testing platforms.
- Build scalable, dependable, and high-performance systems for metadata validation across Disney media platforms.
- Apply cloud services (primarily AWS) to create and maintain resilient infrastructure.
- Collaborate with backend development teams to improve code quality through unit testing, automation, and code reviews.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

We’re looking for our next Software Engineer. Could it be you?
The Software Engineer will be involved in the development of functionally rich, robust and user-friendly mobile applications, following through all stages of the Agile software development life cycle from inception to implementation. The developer will collaborate on a cross-functional team including UX Design, QA and other engineers in the implementation of core back-end services, and the growth of best practices and technological advancements. The ideal candidate for this role should be able to thrive in dynamic environments, have a strong work ethic, positive energy and the ability to innovate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing, automating tests, debugging back-end services and mobile apps
- Reviewing peer code to ensure quality and correctness of solutions
- Enhancing and modifying existing applications as needed to ensure add new features or improve user-experience
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with existing applications
- Interacting with designers, developers, QA testers, copywriters, product owners and others in order to understand requirements and scope of work
- Has expertise working on and supporting a complex infrastructure environment
- Playing active role in defining and implementing best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies
- Helping the team to estimate work efforts for user stories, including determining requirements, dependencies and risks
- Conducting research and developing proof of concepts
- Participating in and contribute to all Agile Scrum ceremonies
- Collecting system performance and metrics to enable monitoring and operation
- Designing and architecting components on solution level and system APIs
- Assist with the hiring of new members joining engineering teams

- Complete understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles
- Solid understanding of different design patterns and when to apply them
- Advanced knowledge and experience with .NET Core and C#
- Experience building REST APIs and the OpenAPI Spec.
- Experience with relational and object-oriented databases, and how to consume, manipulate and optimize applications that deal with large datasets
- Experience with unit testing (xUnit, nUnit, Jasmine, Jest or similar)
- Experience with OIDC and OAuth2 standards and how to implement them
- Experience integrating services with third-party vendors
- Experience with real-time communication (Sockets, Firebase, gRPC)
- Knowledge of Agile (SCRUM/Kanban) development practices
- Experience with Angular, Node.js and Express is a plus

Buscamos para cliente líder en una plataforma de gestión para agencias de publicidad y empresas.
Responsabilidades- Diseñar, construir y evolucionar microservicios robustos y de alto rendimiento utilizando nuestro stack tecnológico (Laravel, NestJS, AdonisJS, FastAPI).
- Traducir requerimientos complejos de negocio en soluciones técnicas elegantes, escalables y mantenibles.
- Tomar ownership de componentes clave de nuestra arquitectura, asegurando su calidad y correcto funcionamiento desde el desarrollo hasta la producción.
- Escribir código de alta calidad, promoviendo activamente buenas prácticas de desarrollo, testing y seguridad dentro del equipo.
- Proponer e implementar mejoras de rendimiento y escalabilidad en los servicios existentes, identificando cuellos de botella y optimizando recursos.
- Participar en discusiones de diseño de arquitectura y aportar una visión técnica para la evolución de la plataforma.
- Mentorear a otros desarrolladores a través de revisiones de código constructivas y colaboración técnica.
Requisitos Indispensables (Must-Have):
- Más de 3 años de experiencia profesional en roles de desarrollo backend.
- Experiencia y dominio demostrable en al menos uno de los siguientes ecosistemas:
- ○ Typescript (con NestJS o AdonisJS)
- ○ PHP (con Laravel)
- ○ Python (con FastAPI o Flask)
- Sólida experiencia en el modelado de datos y optimización de consultas en bases de datos relacionales (ej. PostgreSQL).
- Experiencia práctica construyendo y desplegando aplicaciones en plataformas cloud preferentemente AWS).
- Comprensión clara de los principios de arquitectura de microservicios y sistemas distribuidos.
- Dominio de sistemas de control de versiones (Git) y flujos de trabajo colaborativos GitFlow/Trunk-based).
Requisitos Deseables (Nice-to-Have):

Overview
We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with a strong foundation in computer science and passion for solving complex problems through high-quality code. What you will do- Develop world-class, highly performant features for the next generation synchronization platform in a fast-paced environment;
- Work closely with other developers and engineers to develop functionality collaboratively and iteratively;
- Write unit and functional automation tests as well as perform code reviews ensuring good code quality standards are met;
- Responsible for troubleshooting and appropriate bug fixes of production issues with quick turnaround time;
- Design and implement data processing pipelines that normalize, validate, and transform data from multiple sources.
- 5+ years of experience building back-end systems using Java in production;
- Proficiency with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Dependency Injection);
- Deep knowledge of core data structures (arrays, linked lists, sets, maps, stacks, queues, graphs, trees) and algorithms, with the ability to analyze time/space complexity and solve real-world and coding-challenge style problems efficiently;
- Practical knowledge of time and space complexity, trade-offs, and optimization;
- Demonstrated experience applying these concepts in real-world systems and/or coding challenges;
- Our interview process places strong emphasis on algorithmic problem-solving, data structures, and complexity analysis. Candidates should expect exercises related to system design and Java/Spring technical discussions;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on coding proficiency ;
- Exposure to unit testing with frameworks such as Junit and Mockito ;
- Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL , MySQL , MongoDB (preferably);
- Knowledge of RESTFul APIs and version control using Git/GitHub ;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Self-motivated doer of things and solver of problems;
- A strong sense of ownership and willingness to overcome every challenge with the same level of energy, regardless of the complexity or the end goal;
