Delta FM are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager available to commence a full time permanent position with an ongoing 8&6 or 14/14 Days Only roster FIFO From Perth.
THE POSITION
- Maintain overall delivery of services at a tactical and transactional level
- Manage planned, corrective and unplanned deliverables to ensure completed within compliance, contract and KPI timeframes.
- Working within a safe and efficient manner to manage day-to-day interfaces between operational management, site management, sub-contractors and the client to ensure high quality maintenance planning
- Ensure site compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure a sustainable safety culture
THE PERSON
- Proven experience in either Facilities Maintenance, Trade management and/or scheduling or demonstrated equivalent industry experience
- Possess relevant trade qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and customer service
- Asset Management experience
- Facilities Management experience
- Excellent communication
- Strong computer skills
- Management experience leading and inspiring operational teams to deliver results
- Experience in staff recruitment, retention, rostering, and subsequent management of both permanent and casual workforces

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the execution of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance processes, ensuring timely and effective completion while reducing downtime.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to guarantee the availability and reliability of both fixed and rotating equipment.
• Lead and handle the maintenance team, assigning tasks and resources efficiently.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement effective solutions.
• Support continuous improvement and process optimization projects.
• Prepare, analyze, and present maintenance reports and performance indicators.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.
• Coordinate and supervise work performed by third-party contractors.
• Manage the maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Oversee inventory management of spare parts, materials, and supplies.
Knowledge Skills And Abilities
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Engineering (maintenance-oriented).
• Solid experience in maintenance management, preferably within continuous process industries.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Advanced level of English.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of Low and Medium Voltage electricity, including operation and maintenance of generator sets and LV/MV switchboards.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

We are searching for a highly skilled and motivated Manager, Maintenance (Mobile Equipment) to oversee the maintenance, reliability, and performance of mobile equipment at our open pit mining operations. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of mobile fleet maintenance, including heavy earthmoving equipment such as both a 150t and an ultra-class haul truck fleet, loaders, graders, dozers, and drills, and will oversee light vehicle maintenance.
The successful candidate will lead a team of trades personnel, planners and reliability personnel to ensure equipment availability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and environmental requirements and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities for the mobile equipment fleet.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize fleet uptime.
- Manage and develop a team of heavy-duty mechanics, planners, supervisors, and support staff.
- Coordinate with operations and planning teams to align maintenance schedules with operational goals.
- Monitor equipment performance, availability and reliability; identify and resolve chronic issues.
- Ensure maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor contracts.
- Optimize maintenance workflows using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance strategies, reliability practices, and technician development.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage mine maintenance activities and personnel in a high-altitude environment.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Trade qualification (e.g., Diesel Mechanic, HD Fitter) and/or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in mobile equipment maintenance within the mining industry.
- At least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of mining mobile equipment (e.g., CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr).
- Proven experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP, Pronto, or Oracle.
- Deep understanding of mining safety and compliance standards (MSHA, WHS, ISO, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Sound understanding of condition monitoring and reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) practices.
