Our technology team is growing, and we are looking to add an IT Security Engineer to the organization. This hands-on role will support and strengthen our security posture through proactive improvements and responsive actions. As a Security Generalist, you will monitor security systems, analyze events and logs, investigate incidents, and take necessary actions to resolve them. You will also implement and maintain security tools, automations, and infrastructure—including our future SIEM. Additionally, you will lead operational security tasks such as vulnerability remediation, user access reviews, and code scan follow-ups.
As a SME, combining deep technical engineering expertise with operational responsibility across Jam City's security controls, you will serve as both builder and executor of security solutions.
Reporting to the VP of IT (Data Protection Officer), you’ll work cross-functionally to protect company assets, infrastructure, and applications from cyber threats while supporting compliance and security best practices across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead incident investigations across SaaS platforms including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Box, as well as Cloud platforms like GCP and AWS.
- Design and implement automated security workflows in Okta, such as contextual access, dynamic MFA, and threat response automation.
- Design, implement, and deploy SIEM tooling and develop detection rules and playbooks.
- Maintain and execute User Access Reviews (UARs), vulnerability scans & remediations, and threat responses.
- Perform red teaming exercises and annual penetration testing campaigns.
- Configure, test, and optimize endpoint, browser, and SaaS security controls.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering to ensure secrets and API keys are securely managed.
- Monitor and triage alerts from EDR, DLP, and code scanning systems.
- Participate in security awareness programs and phishing simulations.
- Assist with compliance audits and security documentation, including Business Continuity and DR/backup policies.
- Deep understanding of authentication protocols like SAML, OIDC, OAuth, Kerberos.
- Experience with SIEM platforms and detection engineering, including rule creation and log correlation.
- Strong automation experience with Okta Workflows, scripting (Python/Bash), and APIs.
- Familiarity with endpoint protection, browser security, and DLP tools.
- Ability to perform and lead internal red team assessments and penetration testing.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and secure development practices, including secrets management and credential detection.
- Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills.

Misión

- Experiencia en troubleshooting de problemas complejos de red, uso de herramientas para el análisis (wireshark, etc).
- Automatizar tareas operativas como la configuración y despliegue de redes y seguridad en las redes.
- Educación mínima Superior (Carrera Universitaria o una Tecnicatura) Ingeniero, Licenciado o técnico Seguridad, Informatica, Telecomunicaciones, Computación o carreras a fines
- Experiencia de 5 años en la posición.

Summary Description You will focus on being the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing information technology including hardware, software, and networks that enhance security of our data, network and protect our firm's intellectual assets.
This role will be tasked with building and implementing Cloud network security. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of networking, network security and cloud networking and cloud network security experience.
What we’re looking for :
- Working understanding of the following areas: IP Networking Protocols, VPN, Firewalls and DNS
- Experience working with one or more Cloud Service Provider - Azure or AWS preferred.
- Proven skills utilizing Python and Bash
- Working knowledge of PaloAlto Next Generation Firewalls Ability to work with and interact with various API content
- Experience working with Automation & Orchestration tools such as ADO Pipelines, Ansible, Git and/or Terraform
- Self-motivated; being able to work independently to identify opportunities for improvement Quick Learner; proven ability to upskill quickly to deliver impactful results
Preferred Knowledge/Skills :
- Experience implementing network security solutions
- Experience implementing designing, implementing Cloud networking and Cloud Network Security.
- Experience engaging business and technology stakeholders at all levels to gather long term goals and requirements.
- Understanding of how to design and build security technology solutions aligned to a global centralized service environment.
- Experience working in a complex global organization.
- Working knowledge of scripting, firewalls, IDS, IPS, WAF and networking.
- Working knowledge of multi-cloud networking and security.
- Understanding of security technology at an enterprise solution level.
- Hands on engineering experience with enterprise network security technologies.
- Experience driving the implementation and adoption of technology across large scale organizations.

Qué Desafíos Te Esperan:- Adquirir experiencia en las distintas infraestructuras desplegadas en la actualidad y desarrollar/mantener documentación para ayudar a la formación de otros grupos de apoyo.
- Gestionar la provisión/entrega de hardware de seguridad por parte de proveedores y/o productos.
- Actuar como recurso para las actividades de ingeniería relacionadas con el despliegue de dispositivos de seguridad.
- Mantener un alto nivel de conocimientos sobre el despliegue de tecnologías de red.
- Responsable de la construcción de oficinas nuevas/en expansión.
- Coordinación y ejecución de actividades de despliegue de firewalls.
- Gestión de problemas, diagnóstico, escalado, seguimiento y resolución.
- Informar semanalmente del estado del proyecto.
- Garantizar la ratificación de los estándares tecnológicos.
- Realización de servicios de nivel de ingeniería junto con los equipos de arquitectura.
- Seguir los procesos y normas de desarrollo establecidos para todo el trabajo.
- Identificar y proponer mejoras en los procesos y normas según sea necesario.
- Participar en proyectos complejos con una supervisión u orientación mínimas.
- Proporcionar soporte operativo de nivel 3 para tecnologías de seguridad como firewalls, dispositivos VPN, etc.
- Mantener un alto nivel de conocimientos sobre el despliegue de la infraestructura de red de servicios de fire/VPN en oficinas y centros de datos clave.
- Informar y/o escalar problemas a la dirección.
- Actualizar la documentación de normas según sea necesario.
- Gestión de problemas; diagnóstico, escalado, seguimiento y resolución.
- Conocimiento de equipos de seguridad (Palo Alto, Fortigate) y conocimiento de alto nivel sobre switches/routers Cisco.
- Conocimiento de protocolos de red, tecnologías, servicios y herramientas de supervisión.
- Puede ser necesario trabajar fuera de horario para cumplir los plazos de despliegue, resolución de fallos e implementación de cambios.
- Viajes limitados a ubicaciones internacionales para proyectos según sea necesario.
- Capacidad para trabajar horas extras (aprox. 10%).
- Deseable titulación técnica superior en Telecomunicaciones, Sistemas de Información, Ingeniería Eléctrica o Informática.
- Mínimo 2 años en tecnologías de redes de seguridad o función operativa (firewalls Palo Alto, Fortigate).
- Inglés fluido/capaz de entender y comunicarse durante conferencias telefónicas es imprescindible.
- Capacidad analítica y de resolución de problemas demostrada.
- Excelentes habilidades de organización y multitarea; entiende/ejecuta conceptos de gestión de proyectos.
- Aptitud para aprender rápidamente nuevas tecnologías.
- Orientación al detalle / gran aptitud técnica.
- Capacidad para trabajar con plazos ajustados y cumplirlos.
- Capacidad para interactuar eficazmente con el Director.
- Gran capacidad analítica y de resolución de problemas.
- Fuerte ética de trabajo en equipo y enfoque de atención al cliente.
- Conocimientos de funcionamiento de Firewalls: Zonas, políticas, NAT, enrutamiento estático, BGP, monitorización de enlaces, QoS/shaping, clustering. Configuración de túneles IPSEC.
- Alto nivel de conocimiento de Cisco routing/switching (Cisco CCNA deseado).
- Conocimiento general de conceptos y operaciones de red: Rutas estáticas, BGP, redistribución de rutas, route-maps, prefix-lists, access-lists, subnetting IPv4 e IPv6.
- L2/L3 VLANs, portchannels, trunks, access-ports.
- GRE, NAT/PAT, HSRP, IPSEC ikev1/ikev2, actualizaciones de código, IPS privados frente a públicos.
- QoS/formación.

As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in bot detection, web traffic analysis, and deep behavioral analytics to identify and investigate anomalous activities within our hCaptcha SaaS security platform.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting advanced investigations of potential automated and human threats, analyzing complex patterns and behaviors, and developing actionable insights to enhance our security posture. Working closely with other teams, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI/ML detection and response capabilities, ensuring that our platform remains resilient against evolving cybersecurity challenges.
By staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the cybersecurity landscape, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying the security of our platform, thereby protecting our Customers' data and digital assets.
What will you do:- Monitor, identify and analyze events from a range of sources to spot threats and respond to such incidents with a sense of urgency.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams to accomplish tasks.
- Assist in the collection of metrics to measure the efficiency of Security Operations functions.
- Audit the effectiveness of security measures to check if the systems meet the Security compliance norms.
- Assist in implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Fine-tune the process and eventually update standard operating procedures for the team.
- Participate in various stages of incident investigations and threat hunting engagements.
- Work closely with internal company teams such as Product, Customer Success, etc.
- Exposure to web and API security, coding standards, WAFs, advanced persistent threat actors, botnets (off the shelf and custom) and attack mitigation.
- Hands-on SQL proficiency is a must-have.
- Knowledge of managing, securing and preparing production web environments with tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiar with Threat Hunting - Web/ API, web hacking, web data analysis or WAF hands-on experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the web technology and web application security field.
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape, and the attacker mindset.
