Media Buyer — Remote | Performance Marketing Agency

Descripción Del Trabajo

fully

We're hiring on behalf of a fast-growing remote agency that helps some of the internet's most recognizable creator brands and eCommerce companies scale through paid acquisition.

Their core belief: performance is creative-driven. The best media buyers don't just run campaigns — they understand why ads work, how audiences respond, and how to turn data into better creative decisions.

The team is distributed across the U.S., LATAM, South Africa, Morocco, and the U.K. The work is fast, the feedback loops are short, and strong ideas get implemented.

The Role

This is a hands-on media buying role for someone who genuinely enjoys living inside ad accounts.

You'll manage and scale paid campaigns across Meta and Google , work closely with creatives and account managers, and own performance across a portfolio of high-growth brands. You won't be watching dashboards from a distance — you'll be the one identifying gaps, running tests, and driving results.

If you study ads while scrolling, save hooks that catch your eye, and naturally think about why certain creatives convert — this role was built for you.

What You'll Own

Meta Ads (60%) Build, launch, and scale campaigns across Meta. Manage targeting, budgets, bid strategies, and campaign structure. Analyze CPM, CTR, CVR, and CPA to surface what's working — and fix what isn't.

Google Ads — Search & GDN (20%) Run Paid Search and Display campaigns. Dig into keyword performance, audience segmentation, and impression share. Connect bidding and landing page decisions to outcomes.

Client Communication (10%) Turn performance data into clear, actionable insights. Help account managers tell a compelling story to clients. Communicate creative rationale with confidence.

Funnel Optimization (10%) Identify gaps in message-market fit, creative formats, and placement performance. Audit post-click experience — landing pages, mobile vs. desktop, upsells — and flag what needs attention.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years managing paid accounts with budgets of $100K+/month

  • Strong hands-on Meta Ads experience; Google Ads a strong plus

  • Deep fluency in performance metrics: CTR, CPM, CVR, CPA, ROAS

  • High agency — you drive projects forward, communicate blockers, and propose solutions

  • Comfortable owning client relationships and leading meetings

  • Strong written communication and remote discipline

Bonus points for: TikTok or YouTube Ads experience, agency background, creative testing frameworks, or managing multiple accounts simultaneously.

What You'll Get

  • Fully remote with flexible, async-friendly scheduling

  • Competitive USD compensation + performance-based incentives

  • Direct impact on real growth — your work moves numbers

  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial team that values initiative

  • Opportunity to work with high-growth brands and top creators

LATAM-based candidates typically target $1,500–$3,500 USD/month for this type of role. Compensation is based on experience and expected impact.

How It Works

  1. Application review

  2. Screening call with Atomic HR

  3. Interview with the client team

  4. Practical exercise / account analysis

  5. Final conversation

  6. Offer

Typically wrapped up within 2–3 weeks.

Interested? Submit your resume and answer a few short questions to get started. We review every application and move quickly with strong fits.

We connect talented tech professionals in Latin America and Canada with remote career opportunities at innovative startups worldwide. We specialize in finding roles that align with your skills, experience, and career goals. Our personalized approach ensures you're matched with companies that value your contributions and offer opportunities for growth. Whether you're a software engineer, designer, marketer, or other tech professional, we're here to help you take the next step in your career.

Company Overview

Our client is a performance marketing agency specializing in mission-driven organizations across higher education and nonprofit sectors. They combine sharp strategy, creative excellence, and data-driven execution to help universities and organizations achieve measurable growth — enrollments, applications, inquiries, and awareness.

In this role, you'll own project planning, process, and delivery across the agency — guiding client work from conception to completion, on time and within budget, across every service line.

Your Role

As Senior Project Manager, you'll own project delivery end-to-end: planning, scheduling, budgeting, and process — across projects of all sizes and all service lines. This is a role for someone who brings a clear point of view on how work should run, not someone who waits to be told. You'll partner closely with finance to understand project profitability, and with department leads to ensure the right people are staffed on the right work at the right time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent projects to ensure they're completed on time and within budget

  • Build, document, and continuously improve project management systems and processes across Creative, Web, Paid Media, SEO, and more

  • Own project budgets and partner directly with the finance team to analyze project and client profitability

  • Own resource and capacity planning across multiple concurrent projects and teams, identifying staffing gaps or bottlenecks before they become delivery risks

  • Work with proposal teams to develop cost estimates and project plans aligned to client needs and internal capacity

  • Train teams on processes and drive adoption

  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring smooth handoffs and keeping project teams focused on the end goal

  • Communicate project status clearly and proactively to stakeholders

  • Stay closely aware of company goals and strategy, bringing forward recommendations that connect project execution to agency-level outcomes

You Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a track record well beyond standard PM execution

  • 5+ years in an agency setting, ideally across multiple service lines (Creative, Web, Paid Media, SEO)

  • Demonstrated experience building or overhauling PM systems and processes — not just operating within an existing one

  • Strong financial acumen, comfortable analyzing budgets, margins, and project profitability alongside a finance team

  • Experience with resource and capacity management across multiple concurrent projects

  • A clear point of view on how project work should be run, with the confidence to advocate for it

  • Asana experience required

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and team leadership skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and AI tools for productivity

  • Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms and version control tools

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills

Bonus Points
  • Experience managing PM systems specifically for higher education, nonprofit, or healthcare clients

  • Prior experience formally training teams on PM methodology

  • Experience presenting financial or project performance data directly to leadership

  • Background that spans both the PM and finance/ops side of an agency

What's Offered
  • Fully remote work environment

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and scope

  • Real autonomy to set direction, not just follow it

  • The opportunity to build PM systems and process from the ground up, with executive visibility

  • A collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement

Interview Process
  1. Application Review — resume and relevant experience

  2. Intro Call — background, seniority level, and systems-building experience

  3. First Interview — deeper discussion on process, budgeting, and resourcing approach

  4. Practical/Scenario Evaluation — budget analysis, prioritization, or process-design exercise

  5. Final Interview — leadership alignment and overall fit

  6. Offer Stage — final compensation discussion and onboarding

This is an immediate hire for someone excited to bring real ownership and a builder's mindset to project management at a growing, mission-driven agency.
