Job summary:

Collaborate closely with Data Scientists to understand their data requirements, model development needs, and performance optimization goals;

We’re looking for a Software Engineer III, QA Automation, to develop scalable performance testing solutions that ensure high reliability and system efficiency. You’ll collaborate across teams to design and execute load, volume, and saturation tests using tools like JMeter or Locust, while supporting performance monitoring and CI/CD integration. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on data-driven problem-solving and continuous improvement in system performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design and implement performance testing solutions using tools such as JMeter, Locust, or others.
Build and maintain frameworks for load, volume, and saturation testing aligned with performance engineering goals.
Understands and works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Support capacity planning activities for production and analyze system performance data for bottlenecks or scalability issues.
Understanding of REST APIs / GRPC APIs performance.
Guide on complex technical matters and mentor others on emerging technologies to foster knowledge sharing and innovation.
Contribute to the evolution of company-wide best practices and support the adoption of modern technologies by collaborating across teams and promoting technical excellence.

Qualifications Expected for Position
Bachelor's degree in a related field or In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years' experience in QA / performance testing role.
Experience developing performance frameworks using JMeter, Locust, or similar tools.
Experience in observability/monitoring tools like Splunk or NewRelic.
Experience developing full stack application for performance monitoring and analysis.
Experience writing software in one or more technical languages, plus SQL, MySQL, or similar relational database systems.
Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and working in a cloud environment.
Qualifications Preferred for Position
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process preferred.
