Job OverviewResponsible for leading and designing the Operational Excellence strategy for the site. Also, is responsible for working with the Site Leadership team to develop an Operational Excellence culture according to TE Operating Advantage (TEOA / Lean) maturity guidelines and metrics.
Operational Excellence Manager also gives support, coaching, facilitation and training on the TEOA tools and Problem Solving to the different teams of the organization.
In charge of the TEBIT system for capturing the savings and providing a governance on the overall continuous improvement initiatives.
As part of his/her role, is in charge of the governance, creation, training and delivery of the basic operational standards (Standard Times, Work Content Graphs, Cross Training Matrix, Line Layout and Staffing Plan). Also is expected to provide support on the lines Capacity Increase analysis and to transfer lines.
Job Requirements- Lead the Operational Excellence strategy through sponsorship and facilitation of Kaizens
- Coaches the TEOA tool owners.
- Facilitates and train the organization’s teams in TEOA and Continuous Improvement tools. For example: 5S, TPM, Value Stream Mapping, among others.
- Detects and communicates improvement and cost saving opportunities.
- Reports periodically progress on TEOA.
- Manage the TEBIT system to achieve the savings goal and the net productivity, working with the different Core Teams and functional teams.

Education and Experience
- Industrial Engineer Degree

Main Purpose
Drive Operational Excellence in our plant, becoming a key pillar in the implementation of the Management System (PSS/WCM).As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will have the opportunity to lead improvement projects across different areas, applying PSS/WCM methodologies that strengthen the stability of our operations, enhance efficiency, and foster a culture of productivity and continuous improvement.
Your mission will be to
- Ensure the effective implementation of tools across each phase of the PSS (WCM) Management System, guaranteeing optimal process performance.

Main Purpose
Responsible for leading strategic quality projects, ensuring timelines and expected impact. Drives process simplification and efficiency in line with Bayer and regulatory requirements. Supports continuous improvement through tools such as PDCA and Value Stream Mapping. Contributes to leadership initiatives, capacity analysis, cost avoidance, and lab operations. Serves as a data science expert to guide decision-making across all Quality Unit areas.
Your mission will be to
- Define the best strategies to improve all processes within the Quality Unit (QU), ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with site and global metrics. This includes processes related to approximately 200 finished products and 350 raw material SKUs.
- Oversee performance and development management of the QU team, including strategic planning and metrics tracking.
- Lead the definition and execution of all QU strategic projects, ensuring timely implementation and delivering savings, efficiencies, or cost avoidance, in coordination with the QU leadership team.
- Drive the implementation and execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead the deployment of PSS (Product Supply System) projects within QU, and represent the unit in Pilar's site-wide projects.
- Oversee data development processes to support decision-making within QU.
- Support capacity estimations and the development of business cases across QU areas.
- Lead the QU OPEX and budget tracking process, ensuring expenditures are in line with the approved plan. Act as the primary liaison with the Controlling department.
- Manage the QU budget, driving team productivity. Lead business case evaluations, investment opportunities, and oversee QU CAPEX management (ranging from USD 200,000 to 600,000).

- Over 10 years of experience leading diverse, inclusive, and cross-functional teams in dynamic and complex environments, with a strong background in operations management and continuous improvement. Proven track record of driving results in people development, productivity, quality, and sustainability across the product lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of analytical methods and technologies used in pharmaceutical quality control labs.

Purpose
Timken Gears and Services Philadelphia Gear brand is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer at the Santa Fe Springs, California regional service center. Position will work closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Safety, Purchasing and Cost Accounting in the development, implementation and improvement of processes related to the manufacturing (machining and assembly) and inspection of gearboxes. This position is responsible for supporting the performance of operations areas against shared business objectives such as safety, quality, compliance, and manufacturing costs/output. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills And Experience

About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an engineer within our Composite Assembly Manufacturing Department. This area is responsible for the manufacture of all key composite components and assemblies that form the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One car such as the chassis, gearbox carriers, wings, bodywork and engine components. - Generate internal assembly instructions to enable manufacturing and control of build quality and lead time.
- Identify tooling needs and support the design of jigs and fixtures from concept through to final design.
- Oversee prototype and pilot builds, document the build process with standardised work instructions, develop shop aids and route cards.
- Identify and reduce product quality issues caused by process variation.
- Problem Solving; run root cause analysis to troubleshoot assembly manufacturing issues
- Collate quality data, creating monthly metrics providing the manufacturing team with key information to drive quality improvements
- Identify and implement process improvement ideas using lean manufacturing techniques.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the developments within the composite industry and identify technology, equipment, processes that could increase the capability of the team.
- Degree educated in a relevant engineering discipline is advantageous
- Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes gained in Formula 1, Automotive, or similar industry.
- Experience in writing process documentation or standard operating procedures
- Ability to use 3DX, CATIA V5 or similar CAD package for the interrogation of models.
- Ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and product control documentation.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office. Knowledge of SAP desirable.
- Able to produce project plans and manage small scale projects.
- Understanding of RCCA principles including practical problem solving.
- Experience in Design for Manufacture and Lean Manufacturing is desirable.
- Promotes new methods / process equipment and evaluates special material requirements.
- You will have a strong background in composite manufacturing.
- Experience in other industries to challenge the way in which we operate as a Formula 1 team.
- High motivation with good organizational and analytical/technical problem-solving skills.
- Strong capability to work well in a team-based environment, promoting teamwork.
- Flexibility to work outside of role as and when required to support team activities.
- Technical writing skills to document and update any guidance or work instructions as well as engineering procedures and reports.
- Accept versatility within role to flex with workload and priorities.
- A well rounded and competent Engineer.

About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an engineer within our Composite Assembly Manufacturing Department. This area is responsible for the manufacture of all key composite components and assemblies that form the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One car such as the chassis, gearbox carriers, wings, bodywork and engine components. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the designed components are transitioned into manufacture allowing for the most efficient part manufacture in terms of quality, lead-time and cost.
Key Responsibilities- Positively contribute to focus areas within Operations, Health & Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Reduction.
- Collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams, being responsible for ensuring the assembly processes are robust and capable.
