What will your mission be?

• Manage and coordinate the daily activity of a section made up of up to 40 people , ensuring that production objectives are met.
• Plan and assign tasks to the team of rolling mills, carpenters, electricians, mechanics and subcontractors , according to the needs of each day.
• Supervise the progress of the works, ensuring quality, deadlines and compliance with safety standards.
• Lead the operational transformation of the workshop , promoting a culture of order, efficiency and prevention.
• Promote the implementation of the 5S methodology and other continuous improvement practices.
• Actively participate in process engineering projects, including lay-out and industrial transformation .

Profile we are looking for

• Firm commitment to occupational safety and risk prevention : we are looking for a person who leads cultural change in this area, who promotes rigorous compliance with safety protocols and promotes safe behaviours on a daily basis.
• Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar.
• Previous experience as a Supervisor, Production Manager or Workshop Manager in industrial environments (automotive, machinery, nautical.).
• Solid background in team management and operational planning .
• Knowledge and practical experience in:
• - 5S and Lean Manufacturing
• - Process engineering
• - Lay-out changes and line reorganization
• Mastery of office tools. Familiarity with ERP environments will be positively valued.
